I absolutely love discovering cool and quirky Gift Brands, especially if they offer some kind of personalisation service as I really like putting my own personal spin on whatever it is that i’m buying. That’s why when the guys over at Me and My Glass very kindly asked me if I would like to receive one of their Personalised Spotify Glass Plaques that you can personalise with your favourite Spotify Song, I of course said yes. Well I finally received it the other day, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

The ordering process.

I really liked how easy this was to order, as once I had finally searched through Spotify to find the song that I wanted and had found a picture of it’s Album Cover, I just uploaded it to their Website, chose what text I wanted written on the Plaque, and chose whether or not I wanted to include a Timestamp or a QR Code. Then after a couple of days of waiting, it finally dropped through my Letterbox

It’s Plaque.

I really liked it’s Plaque, as even though it was made out of a thick and glossy piece of Acetate rather than actually being made out of Glass, I thought that it felt incredibly high quality and wouldn’t smash or crack if I accidentally dropped it. I also really liked that all of the personalisations, including the Album Cover, the Text, and the QR Code that I had added was actually laser printed on to the piece of Acetate rather than just being some Stickers that they had stuck on to the front of it. Another thing that I really liked was the Wooden Stand that they had included, as I thought that it felt really thick and substantial and wouldn’t damage the Plaque whilst it was on the Stand.

It’s personalisation.

I really liked it’s personalisation, as I loved that you could choose any song and Picture that you wanted and that they could also include a QR Code so that you can just scan it with your Camera to take you directly to your chosen Song. I ended up getting the Album Cover of Black Sabbath’s Paranoid printed on mine, as even though i’m not a massive fan of them myself, this was a Present for someone in my Family who’s a massive life-long fan of Black Sabbath.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as the Plaque came wrapped in a piece of really thick Bubblewrap and the Wooden Stand came wrapped in some really thick Polystyrene Lined Paper inside a thick Cardboard Box that fitted really easily through my Letterbox.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Me and My Glass Personalised Spotify Glass Plaque a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved how easy and straightforward it was to order, it’s plaque, it’s Wooden Stand, it’s personalisation, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in some different sizes, as I think that a massive 36in or 40in version would look amazing hung on a Wall in someone’s Living Room, Bedroom, or Music Room.
