One of the things that always seems to go missing in my House is pairs of incredibly comfy Socks that allows you to walk for hours and hours without making your Feet feel sore. That’s why when I picked up some of the SockShop Men’s Comfort Cuff Gentle Bamboo Socks with Smooth Toe Seams when they were having a massive Sale a couple of weeks ago, I also managed to pick up a few pairs of their sockshop Men’s Half Cushion Gentle Socks too. Well i’ve been wearing them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

When you just need a bit more comfort from you’re Socks, you need our sock shop. Cushioned from Ankle to Toe and with light, non-binding elasticity at the Legs and Tops, they will help to absorb the impact from normal activities such as Walking and Running. They’re also a great solution for Footwear that is just a shade to big but only a little, we don’t ever recommend wearing Shoes or Boots that are too big.
These highly Cotton rich blend Socks are smoothly woven with looped pile inners at the Feet, and supplied in a mix of plain practical colour options that are ideal for everyday wear.

Their material.
I absolutely loved their material, as even though they were made out of 78% Cotton, 19% Polyester, and 2% Elastane, I thought that they felt incredibly soft against my Skin, and were more like they were made out of an incredibly soft and thick yet ever so slightly fluffy Wool rather than a soft and thin yet ever so slightly stretchy Cotton, Polyester and Elastane blend.
Their size.
I really liked their size, as even though I have quite wide sized Feet, I found that UK size 7 to 11 fitted me like a Glove and didn’t fall down or dig into my Skin whilst I was wearing them.
What happened when I wore them.
I really liked what these did when I wore them, as not only did they keep my Feet feeling incredibly warm and dry, but they also kept them from aching when I had been on them all day too. I also really liked that because they had light, non-binding elasticity at the Legs and tops, that they didn’t rub against my Feet when I had been walking a lot.
Their packaging.
I really liked their packaging, as even though these came in a generic Cardboard Sleeve like most other pairs of Socks, I thought that their packaging looked and felt really professional.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the sockshop Men’s Half Cushion Gentle Socks an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved their incredibly soft and thick yet ever so slightly fluffy material, their size, what they did when I wore them, and their packaging, but I just wish that they were also available in a thinner version too as I don’t think that they would be great to wear during the Summer. Other than that i’ll definitely be buying more of them very soon.
