The Admiral Has Set Sail | Admiral Grooming Launch

A couple of weeks ago, both me and Jamie were very kindly invited down to Aspire Leeds to come and celebrate the launch of Admiral Grooming, and after having a fantastic time checking everything out, I thought that I would tell you all about it.

Here’s what Admiral Grooming say about themselves.

Admiral is the original British sports brand with over 100 years of sporting heritage. The brand’s routes are in Football and are rightly credited with kicking off the popular replica kit market in the early 1970’s.

The first Admiral Grooming products range takes it’s inspiration from the Admiral Gold Menswear collection. Admiral Gold gets it’s influence from the brand’s origins and it’s British heritage, combining classic styling with modern elements!

This high-end grooming range is born of Admirals rich history and a love for the highest quality British-grown ingredients.

What happened when I visited Aspire Leeds.

Once we had finally arrived in Leeds, and had wandered around for a little while, we eventually decided to head to Aspire Leeds, which is located opposite Banyan Leeds on Infirmary Street in Leeds City Centre.

Once we had walked into the massive old looking building, we were very kindly greeted by Sarah, the really nice woman who had invited us, who said hi, and asked us if we were ok. We said hi back, and that yes we were, and after a second or so of us all chatting and her checking her guest list, she got one of the really friendly Aspire Leeds staff members to show us to the function room where the launch was being held.

Then once we had entered the massive function room, Sarah came over to us and asked us if we would like a drink, to which we of course said yes, and after a couple of seconds or so of us chatting, she brought us over a nice glass of Orange Juice and showed us to a booth in the corner with some really comfy Leather Sofas and a table that had some Admiral Grooming products on it.

Some black bottles and some silver tubs laid out on a black circular tray next to a tall clear glass full of Orange Juice on a white rectangular table, on a white background.

Then after about ten or so minutes of us chatting and checking out some of the products that were on the table, such as the Admiral Grooming Hydrate & Repair Shave Cream with Cale extract, and the Admiral Grooming Antioxidant Moisture Balm with Artichoke extract, a really friendly man came over, said hi, and told us that he was a Magician, and that he would like to perform a few tricks for us. We both said that we would love to see some of his tricks, but that unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to see most of what he was doing. Then after a couple of minutes of him showing us a few Card tricks, he said goodbye, and that he hoped that we enjoyed the rest of our evening.

Then after about five or so minutes of us both chatting, we got talking to one of the founders of Admiral Grooming, who told us a little about the brand’s background, including how they got started, how long they had been running, and that they were based in Bradford.

Then after about ten or so more minutes of us both chatting and sipping our drinks, a really nice man brought the entire room to a quiet, and introduced Jamie Peacock, who was there to tell us a little about Admiral Grooming, and why he got involved with the brand. He also told us a couple of stories from his past, including a really funny one about Tom Jones and a toilet.

Then once he had finished talking, a really nice staff member started to come around with some delicious canapés, including a really nice Onion Barhji, a gorgeous Sausage and Apple Roll, and a nice but surprisingly spicy Chicken Skewer, whilst a really talented musician performed some of his songs for us in the background.

Then once we had finally finished eating all of the delicious food, we got talking to Michelle and her husband who were also at the event, about what we had been up to, and what we thought about some of the products that we had tried.

Then after about ten or so minutes of us all chatting and finishing off our drinks, we decided that it was time to head off. So we said our thank you’s and goodbyes to Sarah and all of the really friendly staff members, and headed off back into Leeds to catch our Train. But before we could leave, Sarah handed us both a little goodie bag that had a massive booklet, a bottle of the Admiral Grooming Antioxidant Moisturising Balm with Artichoke extract, and a bottle of the Admiral Grooming Anti-Ageing Eye Serum with Pomegranate extract inside it.

I had an absolutely amazing time celebrating the launch of Admiral Grooming, and if you would like to find out more about them, including where you can buy some of their amazing products from, then you can find them online here.
