With me trying to be a little bit more responsible about what I buy and where I buy it from this year, i’ve been on the hunt for any Brands that actively promote being good to the Planet. That’s why when the guys over at Men-ü very kindly asked me if I would like to try some of their amazing Eco-Friendly products that all come in refillable and recyclable packaging, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what i thought of them.
Here’s what Men-ü say about all six amazing products.

Our shampoos and conditioners are a very powerful combination that recharges your Hair!

Ultra concentrate, up to 100 apps.
A unique, Desert Island product based on versatility and performance. Leaves Hair smooth, de-frizzed, with a silky texture and shine – instant conditioning. Great for shine and instant conditioning on dry Hair and for more of a styled look, use even more. Ultra efficient as you simply Shampoo, Towel dry, condition and go. Because it’s so light it can be used sparingly on fine and long Hair. It can also be mixed with our Styling Products for extra shine and conditioning. Mix products between Hands before applying. The Men-ü Black Pepper & Bergamot Shower Gel.
It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerin, Panthenol, Perfume, Linalool, and Citronellol, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Citrus scent to it that kind of reminded me of a very high end Men’s Deodorant.,
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Cream rather than a thin and watery Shower Gel.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Cream into a thin and balmy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that it didn’t foam up like a lot of the other Men’s Shower Gels that i’ve tried in the past have done.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Citrus for at least half an hour after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short conical squeezy Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerin, Panthenol, Perfume, Peppermint Oil, and Menthol Crystals, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly minty Grapefruit scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had blended a stick of Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit Chewing Gum with a stick of Wrigley’s Double Mint Chewing Gum.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Lactic Acid, Allantoin, and Xanthan Gum, I thought that it had a very deep and musky yet ever so slightly chemical Plastic scent to it that kind of reminded me of the smell of old Play-Dough.
