It’s Autumn, and that means it’s Halloween, and that of course means Yankee Candle has released their spooky Halloween range.
After spending probably nearly an entire day sniffing the candles my local Love Aroma had in stock, I finally settled on the intriguing Witches Brew.
Witches Brew, is described as a perfectly bewitching spicy Patchouli heavy fragrance, that’s perfect for any time of year.
Witches Brew is quite strange as it has an extremely spicy yet sweet scent.
The best way I can describe it is, remember when you were a kid and you used to get those 10p ice lollies? Well, it’s like that. I know you’re now thinking, he’s lost the plot! But if you can remember those ice lollies, you’ll know what I’m on about.
It’s the perfect scent for this time of year, as it has that fruity Summer scent, paired with that perfect winter scent.
The scent throw is extraordinary. I was expecting a subtle fruity scent that you could only notice after being in the room for half an hour, but no! It turns out it really packs a punch. As soon as you light it, or come into the room, you instantly smell it.
The only major draw back is that you can only get this in a medium jar or a wax melt. Other than that, I would have to rate this a nine point five out of ten. I loved this, and blew through this in nearly three weeks, see what I did there? I loved this so much that once I had burnt it all up, I even turned the leftover wax into a melt.
Because it is a limited edition, it’s only available for a very short time, so if you like the sound of Witches Brew, then grab it while you can!
If you would like to get your hands on any of the Yankee Candle Halloween range, you can either pick them up in your local Love Aroma store, or online here. You can also buy them directly from Yankee Candle online here.
After Halloween candle season is over, it’s Christmas candle season. God I love a Christmas candle. I may have to pop into Leeds tomorrow for a little browse. What am I on about? I obviously mean purchase, haha!
What’s your favourite Halloween and Christmas candles? Please let me know, I need the inspiration.
