Ciao All’Italia | Yankee Candle Hello To Italy Collection

Yankee Candle have recently released their Hello To Italy collection, which includes Azure Sky, Capri Glow, Lemon Gelato, and Olive & Cypress, and being the Candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and pick them all up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Yankee Candle say about all four delicious smelling Candles.

The Yankee Candle Azure Sky.

Aromas of fresh Mango, sweet Coconut Cream and Solar Tuberose waft through the Air, washing over you like a gentle Wave on the Positano Coastline. Yankee Candle Azure Sky also contains top notes of Orange, Mango and Pineapple, heart notes of Tuberose, Rose, Coconut Cream and Sea Salt, and base notes of Vanilla, Amber and Tropical Musk.

The Yankee Candle Capri Glow.

Bask in the Summer Glow of Capri’s Sandy Beaches with scents of Sun-kissed Amber, Frangipani Blossoms and a splash of Citrus Zest. Yankee Candle Capri Glow also contains top notes of Citrus Zest, Bitter Orange and Myrtle, heart notes of African Orange Flower, Neroli Blossom and Frangipani, and base notes of Sun-kissed Amber, Bleached Woods, Sheer Musk and Macadamia.

The Yankee Candle Lemon Gelato.

Cool down your Sicilian Summer Afternoon with a delicious Frozen Dessert, complete with scents of icy Lemon, sweet Gelato, and fizzy Citrus. Yankee Candle Lemon Gelato also contains top notes of Iced Lemon, Lime and Blackcurrant, heart notes of Strawberry, Marshmallow and Blackberry, and base notes of Vanilla, Sweet Gelato, Musky Wood and Sweet Citrus.

The Yankee Candle Olive & Cypress.

Stroll through Tuscany’s magnificent Forests, surrounded by the captivating fragrances of Olive Trees, Rosemary, and lush Cypress. Yankee Candle Olive & Cypress also contains top notes of Olive, Pink Peppercorn and Rosemary, heart notes of Avocado, Oregano and Fennel, and base notes of Amber, Moss, Vetiverr and Cypress.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Pineapple, Tuberose, and Amber, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly oceanic Coconut scent to it that kind of reminded me of being at the Beach drinking a massive Glass of Pina Colada on a boiling hot Summer’s Day. I could definitely smell the Mango, Pineapple, Coconut Cream, Sea Salt, Vanilla, and Tropical Musks, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly oceanic Coconut scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Orange, Tuberose, Rose, or Amber, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly oceanic Coconut scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wicks trimmed, I easily got at least 160 hours of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly oceanic Coconut scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Bitter Orange, Frangipani, and Bleached Woods, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Shea scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Tub of some Shea Body Butter. I could definitely smell the Citrus Zest, African Orange Flower, Neroli Blossom, Frangipani, Bleached Wood, Shear Musk, and Macadamia, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious fresh and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Shea scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Bitter Orange, Myrtle, or Sun-Kissed Amber, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I was actually a little bit disappointed by it’s scent throw, as even though this smelt really strong in it’s Jar, it was unfortunately one of those scents that I only really noticed once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wicks trimmed, I easily got at least 155 hours of delicious fresh and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Shea scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Blackcurrant, Marshmallow, and Musky Wood, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon Gelato scent to it that kind of reminded me of eating a massive Bowl of Lemon Gelato on a boiling hot Summer’s Day. I could definitely smell the Iced Lemon, Lime, Strawberry, Marshmallow, Vanilla, and Sweet Gelato, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious sweet and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon Gelato scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Blackcurrant, Blackberry, or Musky Wood, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Pink Peppercorn, Avocado, and Vetiver, I thought that it had a delicious deep and grassy yet ever so slightly musky Olive scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking through an Olive Grove after it’s just finished raining on a balmy Autumn Afternoon. I could definitely smell the Olive, Rosemary, Avocado, Oregano, Fennel,Moss, and Cypress, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious deep and grassy yet ever so slightly musky Olive scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Pink Peppercorn, Amber, or Vetiver, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room, the entire top floor of my House and even some of the downstairs with it’s delicious deep and grassy yet ever so slightly musky Olive scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Azure Sky an eight point five out of ten, the Yankee Candle Capri Glow an eight out of ten, the Yankee Candle Lemon Gelato a nine out of ten, and the Yankee Candle Olive & Cypress a nine out of ten. I really liked the Yankee Candle Azure Sky, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly oceanic Coconut scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Pineapple. I really liked the Yankee Candle Capri Glow, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Shea scent, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it’s scent throw had been a little bit stronger. I really liked the Yankee Candle Lemon Gelato, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon Gelato scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Lemon. I really liked the Yankee Candle Olive & Cypress, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and grassy yet ever so slightly musky Olive scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.
