Ohh! It’s Finally Hatching! | Lush Easter 2019 Range

As you probably already know, I absolutely love it whenever Lush releases anything new. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Easter 2019 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up the Brontosaurus Fun Egg Bath Bomb and the Carrot Shower Oil, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about both delicious smelling products.

The Brontosaurus Fun Egg Bath Bomb.

Watch in roar as the two halves of this Bath Bomb fizz and crackle in the Water thanks to Popping Candy while uplifting Grapefruit and Bergamot Oil leave you feeling like dino-mite. The Fun that hatches is to do what you like with: crumble in the Tub for softening Bubbles, break off small pieces for a gentle Body Wash, or mould into any shape you wish. If you’re looking for a Peach and Strawberry scented treat with evolving Violet notes, this is the Easter Bath Bomb for you.

The Carrot Shower Oil.

Introducing a newly invented Sulfate and Palm-Free Shower Cleanser that gets to the root of soft, moisturised Skin. An effective Cleanser in its own right or as an extra layer of hydration after Soap or Shower Gel, sweep this hydrating Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter Bar over wet Skin to lift away Dirt without the lather. As you Cleanse, your Skin is sure to veg out on all the benefits of Cold-Pressed Carrot Seed Oil and fresh Carrot Extract in Sunflower Oil, full of Vitamins E and A to protect and soften all over. The Sherbert-sweet scent of Caledonian Sandalwood, Grapefruit and Geranium adds a luscious fruity flourish to your routine.

The Brontosaurus Fun  Egg Bath Bomb.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Popping Candy, Grapefruit Oil, Bergamot Oil, Almond Essential Oil, and Gardenia Extract, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant scent to it that kind of reminded me of if they had blended Blackcurrant Juice with some Violet Petals.

What it did when I used it.

I absolutely loved what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful Blue and Pink all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended together to turn my Bath a gorgeous shimmering Pastel Purple colour. I also really liked that as it fizzed, that it released tons of Popping Candy into the Water that started to fizz and crackle so that it sounded like the Egg was actually hatching.
I also really liked that when I used the little piece of Brontosaurus shaped Fun that was hidden inside the Bath Bomb, that it created tons of silky soft Pastel Purple Bubbles when I used it as a Bubble Bar, that it created lots of thick and creamy Suds when I used it as a Soap, and that it also created a really thick and creamy lather when I used it as a Shampoo.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth and moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant for hours after I had used it.

The Carrot Shower Oil.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Fresh Carrot Extracted in Sunflower Oil, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Sunflower Wax, Cold Pressed Carrot Seed Oil, Organic Almond Butter, Fresh Orange Juice, Sandalwood Oil, Grapefruit Oil, and Geranium Oil, I thought that it had an extremely fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of their Cupid’s Love Soap.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it started to slowly melt and released lots of thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Oil that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, supple and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of extremely fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Orange for hours after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Brontosaurus Fun Egg Bath Bomb a nine point five out of ten, and the Lush Carrot Shower Oil an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Brontosaurus Fun Egg Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just thought that it was a little bit overpriced for a Bath Bomb even though you could use it multiple times. I really liked the Lush Carrot Shower Oil, as I absolutely loved it’s extremely fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Orange scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I really didn’t like that the straw that you were supposed to hold when you used it broke off as soon as you picked it up.
