One of my favourite Holidays, especially when it comes to Lush definitely has to be Easter, as I absolutely love seeing all of the cool and quirky Easter themed products that they release. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Easter 2023 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt, an Ostara Bath Bomb, a Baby Rainbow Carrot Blue Bubble Bar, a Tub of Celebrate Body Scrub, a Block of Here There Be Dragons Fun, and a Block of I Believe In Unicorns Fun, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all six amazing products.

The Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt.

Shimmering sweet Caramel.
Indulge in a super Soak that’s got all the richness and sweetness of Honeyed fragrance, but this Egg is completely Vegan! An Easter embrace of Bath Bomb and Bath Melt, luxurious Caramel scents come from the fizz, while decadent Organic Cocoa Butter provided by the Melt leaves your Skin shimmeringly soft. Sometimes, all that glitters is Gold!

How to use.

Drop this sweet, syrupy, and lustrous Gold Bath Bomb Melt into warm Bath Waters, it’ll be eggs-actly what you’re looking for.

How to store.

We recommend keeping this Egg in a cool, dry place, until you’re ready to hatch.

The Ostara Bath Bomb.

The Goddess of Spring.
Named after the Goddess of Germanic Folklore, Ostara Bath Bomb heralds in the Season of Spring in your Bathtub, as Bergamot Oil, Lime Oil and Violet Leaf Absolute combine to form a wonderfully sweet and fruity fragrance. Like their namesake in the Folk Tale, this giant Bath Bomb contains a vibrant Yellow Egg!

How to use.

Either pop it all in the Tub and enjoy the colourful Bath Art, or give it a tap to discover the Egg inside, ready to use for a second Bath.

How to store.

We recommend keeping Ostara in a cool, dry place until you’re ready to use. No need to wait for Springtime though!

The Baby Rainbow Carrot Blue Bubble Bar.

How to use.

The heady and sugary scent featured in this Bar of Fun is shared, appropriately, with our Unicorn Poop Bath Bomb!

How to use.

Get Hands-on making Models of your own, or pinch off a small piece and lather up from Head to Toe to enjoy a jolly good cleanse or Shampoo. Alternatively, just wing it, and crumble a little under running Water for plenty of swishable Bubble Mountains.

The Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt.

Its scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Cornstarch, Cream Of Tartar, Bergamot Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Gardenia Extract, Water, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Talc, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Silica, Tin oxide, Amyl Cinnamal, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 77491, Colour 19140:1, Colour 47005, Colour 45410:1, Colour 45410, Colour 45410:2, Colour 15851, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a very sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly musky Honey scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Jar of some out of date Honey.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous Caramel Yellow and Gold Lustre all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright White Foam to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Golden Yellow colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it ever so slowly started to melt and released streams of incredibly silky soft Cocoa Butter and Olive Oil all over the surface of the Water that left the Water feeling really silky soft.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of very sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly musky Honey for hours after I had used it. I did however notice that quite a lot of it’s Lustre was stuck to my Skin after I had used it though, but given that the Lustre was basically embedded in it’s Butter and Oil mixture, it’s kind of to be expected.

The Lush Ostara Bath Bomb.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Bergamot Oil, Lime Oil, Violet Leaf Absolute, Soybean Flower, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Talc, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Propylene Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Limonene, Colour 47005:1, Colour 45410:1, Colour 45410:2, Colour 45410, Colour 15851, Colour 77491, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you make a massive Glass of Robinson’s Blackcurrant & Apple Squash.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Orange all over the surface of the Water, and then once it had finally finished hissing, it also released another small Bath Bomb that fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of vivid bright Yellow all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Orange to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Sunset Orange colour.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Baby Rainbow Carrot Blue Bubble Bar.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cream Of Tartar, Glycerine, Lauryl Betaine, Fragrance, Bergamot Oil, Buchu Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Carrot Powder, Titanium Dioxide, Cornstarch, Talc, Synthetic Fluophlogopite, Tin Oxide, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 42090, Colour 42090:2, and Green Raffia, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Lemon and Blackcurrant scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you’re grating some Carrots up to make a Carrot and Coriander Soup.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft shimmering bright Blue Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Clouds at midday.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Lemon and Blackcurrant for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Celebrate Body Scrub.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Sunflower Oil, Citric Acid, Organic Jojoba Oil, Ground White Rice, Cornstarch, Soy Oil, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Candelilla Wax, Japan Wax, Fragrance, Limonene, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Lime Oil, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, and Colour 47005:1, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Bucks Fizz on Christmas Day. ,

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy Body Butter with little pieces of Ground White Rice running through it rather than a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly gritty Body Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin ,it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy Body Butter with little pieces of Ground White Rice running through it into a thick and frothy Shower Foam with little pieces of Ground White Rice running through it that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved its results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, squeaky clean, soft, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange for at least half an hour after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked its packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Here There Be Dragons Fun.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Talc, Cornstarch, Glycerine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Bergamot Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlohopite, Tin Oxide, Silica, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 45410:2, Colour 42092, Colour 77491, Colour 45410:1, Colour 15510, Colour 17200, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massing Glass of Lemon Drop on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Soap, I thought that it felt incredibly soft and squishy, and was more like a soft and squishy block of Plasticine rather than a hard and solid block of Soap.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a soft and squishy block of Plasticine into a thick and creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that it created tons of incredibly silky soft shimmering bright Orange, Pink and Purple Bubbles when I used it as a Bubble Bar, and that it created a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather when I used it as a Shampoo.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin and Hair feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left them smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Lemon for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came wrapped in a piece of incredibly thick Grease-Proof Paper that kept it really fresh until I was ready to use it, I would have preferred it if it had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub.

The Lush I Believe In Unicorns Fun.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Cornstarch, Talc, Glycerine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Bergamot Oil, Divana Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Silica, Coumarin, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 77491, Colour 45410:1, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Raspberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you unwrap a piece of Raspberry Bubblegum.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Soap, I thought that it felt incredibly soft and squishy, and was more like a soft and squishy block of Plasticine rather than a hard and solid block of Soap.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a soft and squishy block of Plasticine into a thick and creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that it created tons of incredibly silky soft shimmering Pink, Gold and White Bubbles when I used it as a Bubble Bar, and that it created a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather when I used it as a Shampoo.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin and Hair feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left them smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Raspberry for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came wrapped in a piece of incredibly thick Grease-Proof Paper that kept it really fresh until I was ready to use it, I would have preferred it if it had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt a seven out of ten, the Lush Ostara Bath Bomb a nine point five out of ten, the Lush Baby Rainbow Carrots Blue Bubble Bar a nine out of ten, the Lush Celebrate Body Scrub a nine out of ten, the Lush Hear There Be Dragons Fun a nine out of ten, and the Lush I Believe In Unicorns Fun a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt, as I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly musky Honey scent. I really like the Lush Ostara Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Baby Rainbow Carrot Blue Bubble Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Lemon and Blackcurrant scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had been a little bit bigger and that it was also part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Celebrate Body Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Orange and that it was also available in a much bigger Tub. I really liked the Lush Here There Be Dragons Fun, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Lemon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in some kind of a Tub instead of just being wrapped in some Grease-Proof Paper. I really liked the Lush I Believe in Unicorns Fun, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Raspberry scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub instead of just being wrapped in a piece of Grease-Proof Paper.
