As you probably already know, I absolutely love discovering new and interesting Candles. That’s why when the guys over at Sandwick Bay Candles very kindly asked me if I would like to try a couple of their delicious smelling small travel tin Candles, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

three small silver metal jars full of some white coloured wax with some white labels that have Sandwick Bay Candles Caramelised Crimson Pear, Black Plum & Rhubarb, and Champagne & Berries written in bold grey writing on them next to a ceramic brown heart ornament, on a light grey background.

The Sandwick Bay Candles Caramelised Crimson Pear.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity Pear scent to it that kind of reminded me of Pear Skittles. I could definitely smell the Red Pear, Apple, Banana, and sweet Caramel, as I thought they were what gave it it’s delicious sweet and fruity Pear scent. But I couldn’t really smell the Vanilla or Brown Sugar, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as with it smelling so sweet, I was kind of expecting it to fade into the background after I had been burning it for a little while. But it was actually really strong, and filled both my room and the entire top floor of my house with it’s delicious sweet and fruity Pear scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 20 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my wick trimmed, I easily got at least 30 hours of delicious sweet and fruity Pear scent out of it.

The Sandwick Bay Candles Black Plum & Rhubarb.

It’s scent

I really liked it’s scent, as I thought that it had a gorgeous deep and sour yet slightly earthy Rhubarb scent to it that kind of reminded me of freshly picked and stewed Rhubarb. I could definitely smell the Black Plum, Rhubarb, and Pear, as I thought they were what gave it it’s deep and sour yet slightly earthy scent, But I couldn’t really smell the Peach, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered it a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as even though it smelt incredibly strong in it’s jar, it had a very light and delicate scent throw to it that filled my entire room with it’s deep and sour slightly earthy Rhubarb scent within about fifteen minutes of me lighting it.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 20 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my wick trimmed, I easily got at least 25 hours of gorgeous deep and sour yet earthy Rhubarb scent out of it.

The Sandwick Bay Candles Champagne & Berries.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of this one, as I thought that it had an extremely creamy and floral yet slightly fizzy alcoholic scent to it that kind of reminded me of a glass of Pink Champagne. I could definitely smell the Raspberries, Champagne, and Roses, as I thought they were what gave it it’s creamy and floral yet slightly fizzy alcoholic scent. But I couldn’t really smell the Strawberries, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered it a little.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Sandwick Bay Candles Caramelised Crimson Pear a nine out of ten, the Sandwick Bay Candles Black Plum & Rhubarb a nine out of ten, and the Sandwick Bay Candles Champagne & Berries a seven point five out of ten. I absolutely loved the Sandwick Bay Candles Caramelised Crimson Pear, as I really liked it’s delicious sweet and fruity Pear scent, it’s extremely powerful scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I would have loved it to have smelt a little bit stronger. I really liked the Sandwick Bay Candles Black Plum & Rhubarb, as I absolutely loved it’s gorgeous deep and sour yet slightly earthy Rhubarb scent, it’s light and delicate scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I would have loved it to have a little bit more of a stronger scent throw. I did like the Sandwick Bay Candles Champagne & Berries, as even though I wasn’t a massive fan of it’s extremely creamy and floral yet slightly fizzy alcoholic scent, I loved it’s incredibly powerful scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I would have loved it to have smelt a lot more fruitier rather than smelling so floral.
