I Am A Radiant Being | Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Pads 60 & Naturally Radiant Glycolic Overnight Peel

As some of you probably already know, I recently discovered that my Skin reacts really well to anything that contains Glycolic Acid. That’s why when I had heard that Superdrug had a range of products that all contained Glycolic Acid, I obviously had to give some of them a go. Well after browsing their website for a good half an hour, I eventually picked up the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Pads 60 and the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Overnight Peel, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Superdrug say about both amazing products.

The Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Pads 60.

Our Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Pads 60¬†are soaked in a specially developed blend of Glycolic Acid & fruit AHA’s that help to remove dead cells from the surface of the Skin, leaving it fresher. With Witch Hazel to help tone the Skin and added Aloe & Pro Vitamin B5.

The Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Overnight Peel.

Our Naturally Radiant Glycolic Overnight Peel is formulated with a unique energising complex infused with Kiwi Fruit and Mulberry extract to help revive Skin’s radiance and even out Skin tone. With Glycolic Acid, a powerful Alpha Hydroxy (AHA) and a fruit Acid blend, the refreshing Gel formula also refines and re-texturises the Skin’s surface, providing a brighter, more youthful complexion.

Benefits.

Their scent.

I really liked their scent, as even though they contained Glycolic Acid, Witch Hazel, and Aloe Vera, I thought that they had a very invigorating fruity yet ever so slightly minty masculine scent to them that kind of reminded me of an extremely high end men’s Hairdressers.

Their wetness.

I really liked how wet these were, as with them being sat in their packaging for quite a while before I had used them I was kind of expecting them to have dried out a little. But they were actually pretty wet, and were as wet as if I had just poured some Toner onto a Cotton Wool Round.

What they did when I used them.

I really liked what these did when I used them, as once I had started to swipe one of them across my Face, it released quite a lot of watery Serum that dried within a matter of seconds of me applying it.

Their results.

I really liked their results, as not only did these leave my skin feeling incredibly soft, smooth and moisturised, but they also left it looking extremely refreshed and glowing for hours after I had used them too.

Their packaging.

I really liked their packaging, as these came in a short cylindrical plastic tub with a screw top lid, that as well as keeping them incredibly fresh also looked beautiful sat on my Beauty shelves.

A tall thin slightly golden box that has a picture of a pink star, Superdrug written in cursive pink writing, Naturally Radiant written in small black writing, and Glycolic Overnight Peel awakens skin's natural glow written in small white writing on it, on a light background.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycolic Acid, Kiwi Fruit, and Mulberry, I thought that it had a very strange alcoholic fruity yet powdery scent to it that kind of reminded me of out of date Baby Oil.

It’s consistency.

I absolutely loved it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Overnight Peel, I thought that it felt extremely watery, and was more like a thin and light Hair Gel rather than a thick and creamy Face Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a thin and light Hair Gel into a thin and watery Facial Oil that set within a matter of seconds of me applying it.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly soft, smooth and moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely refreshed, glowing, and like I had just had a Facial for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a small plastic tube with a clickable lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Pads 60 an eight point five out of ten, and the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Overnight Peel a nine out of ten. I really liked the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Pads 60, as I loved their invigorating fruity yet ever so slightly minty masculine scent, how wet they were, what they did when I used them, their results, and their packaging. But I would have loved them to have been a little bit wetter, as once I had swiped one of them across half of my Face, it felt like I had nearly used up all of the product that they had been soaked in. I absolutely loved the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Overnight Peel, as I really liked it’s extremely thin and watery consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I unfortunately just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s strange alcoholic fruity yet powdery scent.
