The Hawke Has Brought Me A Bag Of Sweets | Arthur J Hawke Lemon Sherbet Beard Oil

One of my favourite scents definitely has to be the scent of a freshly squeezed Lemon, and I would absolutely love to be able to find a Beard Oil that smells just like one. Unfortunately though, most Beard Care brands tend  to include some kind of spicy or woody note like Cedarwood or Sandalwood to tone down the fresh and zesty notes of the Lemon. That’s why when I saw that Arthur J Hawke had released a Lemon Sherbet Beard Oil whilst I was scrolling through Instagram a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Arthur J Hawke say about their Lemon Sherbet Beard Oil.

  • Moisturised.

Application.

Apply a small amount in your Palms and massage into your Beard and Skin daily after washing. Made from the finest ingredients, some of our products may contain Allergens, so please do a small patch test 24 hours before application.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Apricot Kernel Oil, Hazelnut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Castor Oil, Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Sherbet Lemon Sweets.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Beard Oil, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Oil rather than a thick and oily Beard Oil.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Beard, it turned from an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Oil into a thin and oily Beard Oil that spread really easily through my Beard.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Beard and the Skin underneath and around it feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking a lot shinier, much healthier and smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Lemon for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Arthur J Hawke Lemon Sherbet Beard Oil a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Lemon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Lemon.
