Some of my favourite Beard Oils definitely has to be anything that contains Lime Oil, as I absolutely love it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly medicinal scent. Unfortunately though, most Beard Care brands tend to blend Lime Oil with things like Lavender, Lemon, or Patchouli, which means that you can’t really smell any of the Lime Oil once it’s in your Beard. That’s why when I saw that Arthur J Hawke had released a Lime Zest & Mint Beard Oil whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Apricot Kernel Oil, Hazelnut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Castor Oil, Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Lime and Mint scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured some Lime Juice over a strip of Wrigley’s Double Mint Chewing Gum.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Beard Oil, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Oil rather than a thick and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Beard Oil.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Beard, it turned from an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Oil into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Beard Oil that spread really easily through my Beard.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Beard and the Skin underneath and around it feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking a lot shinier, much healthier and smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Lime and Mint for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid and a Childproof Lock that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Arthur J Hawke Lime Zest & Mint Beard Oil an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Lime and Mint scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Lime as most of the Lime had more or less disappeared after about an hour or two of me applying it..
