I really like using some kind of an Acid or Enzymatic Toner in my Skincare Routine, as I absolutely love how soft and clean they leave my Skin feeling. That’s why when I saw that Botanical Lab had released a Pumpkin & Papaya Enzyme Daily Exfoliator that claims to gently exfoliate your Skin using a range of Alpha-Hydroxy Acids and Fruit Enzymes whilst I was scrolling through Superdrug’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Botanical Lab say about their Pumpkin & papaya Enzyme Daily Exfoliator.
Pumpkin & Papaya Enzymes lightly exfoliate to remove Dead Skin Cells, it unclogs and resurfaces to renew Skin, leaving it feeling soft and looking radiant. We have also made sure that it has been specially formulated to a pH suitable for Blemish prone Skin.
Fruit Extracts lightly exfoliate to remove Dead Skin Cells.
Unclogs and resurfaces to renew Skin.
Leaves Skin soft and radiant.
Bottle with a screw Cap Lid.
It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Phenoxyethanol, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Citric Acid, Malic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Pumpkin Fruit Ferment Filtrate, Papaya Fruit Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, and Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, I thought that it had a very strange deep and nutty yet ever so slightly fruity Pumpkin scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past the Pumpkin section of a Supermarket during Autumn.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Daily Exfoliator, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly grainy Daily Exfoliator.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had poured a little bit of it on to a Cotton Wool Round and had started to swipe it across my Face, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Acid Toner that instantly sank into my Skin.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy, matte and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much clearer for at least 24 hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Botanical Lab Pumpkin & Papaya Enzyme Daily Exfoliant a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and nutty yet ever so slightly fruity Pumpkin scent.
