I unfortunately suffer horrendously with Migraines to the point that I practically can’t move whenever one hits, and one of the things that really seems to help whenever I have a Migraine is a Self Heating Eye Mask. That’s why when I saw that MegRhythm had released some Gentle Steam Lavender Eye Masks whilst I was scrolling through Superdrug’s Website a couple of weeks ago that claims to soothe tired Eyes and help relieve Temple tension, I obviously had to pick them up. Well i’ve been using them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Their scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of their scent, as even though they contained Iron Powder, Activated Carbon, Water, and Fragrance, I thought that they had a very strange deep and floral yet ever so slightly alcoholic Lavender scent to them that kind of reminded me of if someone had mixed an entire Bottle of Lavender Oil with a Bottle of incredibly cheap Gin or Vodka.
Their size.
I really liked their size, as I have quite a large sized Head and these managed to fit me like a Glove without me having to stretch them to make them fit. I also really liked that their Arms were super stretchy even though they were made out of a really thin Tissue Paper.
Their material.
I really liked their material, as these were made out of an incredibly thin and fluffy yet ever so slightly spongy Cloth that felt really soft against my Skin and didn’t rip when I tried to remove one of them from their packaging.
What they did when I used them.
I really liked what these did when I used them, as once I had removed one of them from their packaging and had attached it to my Face, it slowly started to heat up until it created a really nice warming and comforting sensation that felt like I had just placed some recently used Tea Bags over my Eyes.
Their results.
I absolutely loved their results, as not only did these leave my Eyes feeling incredibly refreshed, soothed, awake and intensely hydrated, but they also left them looking less tired and less puffy for hours after I had used them.
Their packaging.
I really liked their packaging, as these came in a really thick and secure Plastic Pouch inside a thick Cardboard Box that kept them feeling really fresh and also meant that none of the Iron Powder got activated until I was ready to use one of them.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the MegRhythm Gentle Steam Lavender Eye Masks an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved their really comfortable and massive size, their material, what they did when I used them, their results, and their packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of their very strange deep and floral yet ever so slightly alcoholic Lavender scent.
