Unfortunately, one of my main weaknesses definitely has to be Dessert, whether that’s a Brownie, some kind of Cake, or a Slice of Pie, as I absolutely love rounding off a Meal with something Sweet at the end of a long, hard day. That’s why when I saw that Brown & Blond
had released a range of Blondies and Brownies that can be delivered direct to your Door whilst I was scrolling through Instagram a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and check everything out. Well after browsing through their Website for a good half an hour, I eventually picked up one of their Choose Your Own Brownie Boxes and chose a Bueno Layer Brownie, a Caramel Cookie Dough Brownie, a Chocolate Orange Brownie, a Lemon Meringue Blondie, and a Raspberry Truffle Brownie, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

The Brown & Blond Bueno Layer Brownie..
It’s taste.
I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Dark Soft Brown Sugar, Unsalted Butter, Dark Chocolate, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Soy Lecithin, Natural Vanilla, Ground Almonds, Eggs, Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder, Palm Oil, Sunflower Oil, Skimmed Milk Powder, Hazelnuts, Whey Powder, Milk, White Chocolate, Concentrated Butter, Wheat Flour, Wheat Starch, Fat-Reduced Cocoa, Whey Proteins, Ammonium Bicarbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Salt, E471, and E492, I thought that it had a delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly nutty Chocolate and Hazelnut taste to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had rolled some Hazelnuts in some melted Dark Chocolate.
It’s texture.
I really liked it’s texture, as even though it was called a Brownie, I thought that it felt really soft and stodgy yet ever so slightly gooey, and was more like a really soft and stodgy yet ever so slightly gooey Slice of Cake rather than a soft and squidgy yet ever so slightly crumbly Brownie.
The Brown & Blond Caramel Cookie Dough Brownie.
It’s taste.

It’s texture.
I really liked it’s texture, as even though it was called a Brownie, I thought that it felt really soft and stodgy yet ever so slightly chewy, and was more like a really soft and stodgy yet ever so slightly chewy piece of Cookie Dough rather than a soft and squidgy yet ever so slightly crumbly Brownie.

It’s texture.
I really liked it’s texture, as even though it was called a Brownie, I thought that it felt really soft and stodgy yet ever so slightly crispy, and was more like a really soft and stodgy Slice of Cake with little shards of Chocolate Orange running all the way through it rather than a soft and squidgy yet ever so slightly crumbly Brownie.
The Brown & Blond Lemon Meringue Blondie.
It’s taste.
I really liked it’s taste, as even though it contained Dark Soft Brown Sugar, Unsalted Butter, White Chocolate, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Whole Milk Powder, Soy Lecithin, Natural Vanilla, Ground Almonds, Eggs, Pasteurised Free Range Egg Whites, and Lemon Oil, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly zesty Lemon Meringue taste to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had blended up a massive Slice of Lemon Meringue Pie.
It’s texture.
I really liked it’s texture, as even though it was called a Blondie, I thought that it felt really soft and stodgy yet ever so slightly crumbly, and was more like a really soft and stodgy Slice of Cake with little pieces of crumbled up Meringue running all the way through it rather than a soft and squidgy yet ever so slightly crumbly Blondie.
The Brown & Blond Raspberry Truffle Brownie.
It’s taste.
I really liked it’s taste, as even though it contained Dark Soft Brown Sugar, Unsalted Butter, Dark Chocolate, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Soy Lecithin, Natural Vanilla, Ground Almonds, Eggs, Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder, Water, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Raspberries, Black Carrot Flavouring, White Chocolate Buttons, Whole Milk Powder, and E322, I thought that it had a delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly fruity Chocolate and Raspberry taste to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had dipped some really sour Raspberries in a Bowl of some really bitter Dark Chocolate.
It’s texture.
I really liked it’s texture, as even though it was called a Brownie, I thought that it felt really soft and stodgy yet ever so slightly crunchy, and was more like a really soft and stodgy slice of Cake with little pieces of Raspberry Seed running all the way through it rather than a really soft and squidgy yet ever so slightly crumbly Brownie.
It’s packaging.
I was’n’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though all of the Brownies came on a piece of really thick Greaseproof Paper inside a Cardboard Box with a Cardboard Sleeve that I thought looked really professional, I would have preferred it if they had all came individually wrapped so that I didn’t have to totally ruin it’s packaging every time I wanted to get one of them out.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Brown & Blond Choose Your Own Brownie Box a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved everything that I got in my Box, especially the Cookie Dough Brownie and the Chocolate Orange Brownie, but I just wish that they had all came individually wrapped instead of just in one massive Box so that I didn’t have to totally ruin it’s packaging every time I wanted to get one of them out.
