Even though I absolutely love a good Blondie or Brownie, I actually much prefer a nice soft and chewy piece of Flapjack. That’s why when I saw that Fancy Jacks had released a range of Flapjacks that can be delivered directly to your Door whilst I was scrolling through Instagram a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and check everything out. Well after scrolling through their Website for a good half an hour, I eventually picked up one of their 6 Jack Treat Boxes, and chose a Cherry Bakewell Jack, a Cookies & Cream Jack, an Eton Mess Jack, a Lemon Jack, a Raspberry & White Chocolate Jack, and a Salted Caramel Jack, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

The Fancy Jacks Cherry Bakewell Jack.
It’s taste.
I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Gluten Free Oats, Castor Sugar, Golden Syrup, Plant Butter, Plant Oil, Filtered Water, Fava Bean Preparation, Sunflower Lecithin, Black Cherry Jam, Black Cherries, Fructose, Sugar, Citric Acid, Pectin, Sodium Citrate, Cherry Compound, Water, Grape Concentrate, Blueberry Concentrate, Carrot Concentrate, Blackcurrant Concentrate, Malic Acid, Cherry Juice Concentrate, Trisodium Citrate, Palm Oil, and Dark Chocolate, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly nutty Cherry Bakewell taste to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Bakewell Tarts into a massive Bowl of Porridge and then had smothered it in some really high quality Cherry Jam.,
It’s texture.
I really liked it’s texture, as even though it was called a Flapjack, I thought that it felt really soft and chewy yet ever so slightly gooey, and was more like a really soft and chewy Cereal Bar with a hidden gooey centre rather than a soft and stodgy yet ever so slightly chewy Flapjack. I also really liked that it’s layer of Fondant Icing and Glacé Cherry gave it an extra added bit of chewiness, and that it’s hidden Pocket of Cherry Jam gave it an extra bit of added gooiness. .

It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though all of the Flapjack came on a piece of Greaseproof Paper inside a Cardboard Box tied with a piece of Twine that I thought looked really professional, it was really hard to get the Flapjack out of the Box as most of them had managed to stick themselves together.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Fancy Jacks 6 Jack Treat Box a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved everything that I got in my Box, especially the Cherry Bakewell Jack, the Eton Mess Jack, and the Lemon Jack, but I just wish that they had all came individually wrapped instead of just being in one massive Box so that I didn’t have to prize each one apart every time that I wanted to eat one of them.
