One of my favourite times of The year, especially when it comes to Lush, definitely has to be Halloween, as I absolutely love seeing all of the cool and quirky Products that they release. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Halloween 2022 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Screamo Bath Bomb, a Cyclops Bubble Bar, a Tub of Toil and Trouble Body Scrub, A Bottle of Blood Orange Shower Gel, a Tub of Tarantula Shower Jelly, a Bottle of Lord of Misrule Body Spray, and a Lord of Misrule Candle, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all seven delicious smelling products.

The Screamo Bath Bomb.

Your favourite scary ghoulie.
Wanna scream? Watch your fears fade into Cobalt Blue Waters with a cheery Cherry Almond scent.

How to use.

Run a Bath and drop in. There’s nothing to be scared of this Halloween.

How to store.

Hide this little Ghoul away, using it fresh is best.

The Cyclops Bubble Bar.

Wide-eyed Passion Fruit Bubbles.
Watch out for zingy Citrus Foam atop vibrant Pink Water that will keep you alert and bright.

How to use.

Crumble under running Water. Halloween Bubble Baths have got their Eye on you.

How to store.

Store somewhere cool and dry, before slaying this Mythical Creature.

The Toil and Trouble Body Scrub.

A scrubby Peppermint and Lavender Brew.
A witches Cauldron of herbal Shower Scrub complete with Jelly Bats!

How to use.

Take a handful of this Peppermint and Lavender Brew with natural exfoliating Salt and buff over your Body, or for a more gentle Cleanse catch a Shower Jelly Bat and lather up. Then rinse your worries away.

The Blood Orange Shower Gel.

So much Orange!
Packed with Orange ingredients, this Halloween Shower Gel will bring the whole Family back to life.

How to use.

Step into the Shower and pour out the rich, intensely fruity Gel and lather all over. Rinse it off, easy peasy Orange squeezy.

The Tarantula Shower Jelly.

Ahhh, it’s a Cherry Wash Wobbler.
Softening Cherry Amaretto fragrance and studded with holographic Rainbow Glitter, heebie-jeebies are guaranteed!

How to use.

Wibble and wobble the whole Jelly over your Body and Hair. Use at Room temperature, cool in the Fridge or even in the Freezer for the ultimate creepy Halloween Shower.

The Lord of Misrule Body Spray.

A spritz of Herbal mischief.
Revel in regeneration with this sweet, spicy blend. It’s sure to leave you smelling sweet and feeling ready to party.

How to use.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Benzoin Resinoid, Ylang Ylang Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Cream Of Tartar, Water, Rice Starch, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Talc, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Dipropylene Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Benzyl Alcohol, Coumarin, Hexyl Cinnamal, , Fragrance, Colour 42090:2, Colour 45510:2, Colour 45510, Colour 42090, Colour 77491, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious rich and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry Bakewell scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Box of Bakewell Tarts.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of vibrant dark Blue all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright White Foam to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering dark Blue colour.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious rich and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry Bakewell for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Cyclops Bubble Bar.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream Of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Cornstarch, Fragrance, Buchu Oil, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Citral, Limonene, Colour 45410:1, Colour 45410, Colour 14700, Colour 17200, and a Candy Eye, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Passionfruit scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Trident Passionfruit Gum.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft dark Pink Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Clouds at Sunset.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Passionfruit for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Toil and Trouble Body Scrub.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Fine Sea Salt, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lavender Flower Infusion, Water, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Peppermint Infusion, Glycerine, Labdanum Resinoid, Orris Oil, Patchouli Oil, Sage Oil, Lactic Acid, Carrageenan Extract, Lauryl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 17200, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious deep and earthy yet ever so slightly grassy Sage scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk through a massive Pile of Leaves during Autumn.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly coarse and gritty yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly coarse and gritty yet ever so slightly balmy Tub of Bath Salts rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gritty Body Scrub. I also thought that it’s little Bat shaped Shower Jellies felt really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and were more like a very tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy Ball of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Jelly.,

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly coarse and gritty yet ever so slightly balmy Tub of Bath Salts into a thin and gritty yet ever so slightly watery Body Scrub that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that it’s little Bat shaped Shower Jellies combined with the residue of the Fine Sea Salt that they had been soaked in to give my Skin a very gentle but deep Scrub whenever I used one of them on their own.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, soft, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and earthy yet ever so slightly grassy Sage for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Blood Orange Shower Gel.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Fresh Orange Peel Infusion, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Glycerine, Water, Lauryl Betaine, Fragrance, Limonene, Fresh Orange Juice, Organic Blood Orange Oil, Bergamot Oil, Davana Oil, Geranium Oil, Lactic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Citral, Citronellol, Linalool, Colour 15510, and Colour 14700, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Blood Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Orange Starburst Sweets.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Hyaluronic Acid Serum rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Hyaluronic Acid Serum into a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Blood Orange for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Tarantula Shower Jelly.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Cherry Infusion, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Carrageenan Extract, Fragrance, Davana Oil, Lime Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Activated Charcoal, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, and Limonene, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly boozy Cherry and Amaretto scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Disaronno and Cherry Coke on a freezing cold Winter’s Night.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Jelly, I thought that it felt really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and was more like a very tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy Ball of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Jelly.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it started to release lots of thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly boozy Cherry and Amaretto for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Lord of Misrule Body Spray.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Alcohol Denat, Water, Fragrance, Glycerine, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Black Pepper Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Anise Alcohol, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral, Coumarin, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly creamy Patchouli scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into an Incense Store.

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists, Neck and Clothes when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the morning, and I could still strongly smell it on my Skin and Clothes when I sat down to have my Dinner at about five o’clock in the evening.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall Black Plastic Kitchen Spray Bottle that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, they’ve unfortunately recently changed the Spray Mechanism of their Body Spray Bottles so that once you’ve sprayed it it locks and you have to wait a couple of seconds before you can spray it again.

The Lord of Misrule Candle.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Rapeseed Wax, Coconut Oil, Coconut Wax, Castor Wax, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Black Pepper Oil, and Vanilla Absolute, I thought that it had a very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly spicy Patchouli scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Bottle of Patchouli Oil into a massive Tub of some very cheap Leather Shoe Polish.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my entire Room with it’s very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly spicy Patchouli scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 15 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 18 hours of very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly spicy Patchouli scent out of it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Screamo Bath Bomb an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Cyclops Bubble Bar a nine out of ten, the Lush Toil and Trouble Body Scrub an eight out of ten, the Lush Blood Orange Shower Gel a nine point five out of ten, the Lush Tarantula Shower Jelly a nine out of ten, the Lush Lord of Misrule Body Spray an eight point five out of ten, and the Lush Lord of Misrule Candle a six out of ten. I really liked the Lush Screamo Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious rich and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry Bakewell scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Cherry. I really liked the Lush Cyclops Bubble Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Passionfruit scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Toil and Trouble Body Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and earthy yet ever so slightly grassy Sage scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but the little Bat shaped Shower Jellies inside it unfortunately got on my nerves after a while. I really liked the Lush Blood Orange Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Blood Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Tarantula Shower Jelly, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly boozy Cherry and Amaretto scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but because it contained Activated Charcoal, I unfortunately found that it managed to leave little Black Puddles all over my Bathroom whenever I used it. I really liked the Lush Lord of Misrule Body Spray, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly creamy Patchouli scent, it’s longevity, and it’s packaging, but I found that I had to be extremely careful of how much of it I sprayed, as otherwise it was all that I could smell all day. I really liked the Lush Lord of Misrule Candle, as I absolutely loved it’s very powerful scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I unfortunately just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly spicy Patchouli scent.
