Some of my favourite Face Masks definitely has to be any of the ones from The Body Shop, as even though they’re a little bit on the pricey side, I love that they use a wide range of different ingredients from around the World to leave you with gloriously feeling and glowing looking Skin. That’s why when I saw that they had released an Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask that claims to leave you with silky soft, purified and glowing looking Skin whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Kaolin, Moroccan Lava Clay, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Alcohol Denat., Green Tea Leaf, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Pumice, Argan Shell Powder, Phenoxyethanol, Xanthan Gum, Fragrance, Charcoal Powder, Ethylhexylglycerin, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Argan Kernel Oil, Shea Butter, Limonene, Linalool, Methylpropanediol, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Menthol, Disodium EDTA, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Tea Tree Leaf Oil, Eucalyptus Leaf Oil, Citric Acid, Menthoxypropanediol, Citral, Geraniol, Coumarin, and Caramel, I thought that it had a delicious deep and medicinal yet ever so slightly grassy Eucalyptus scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up a massive Bunch of freshly picked Eucalyptus Leaves.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Charcoal Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy Body Cream with little pieces of Pumice Powder in it rather than a thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly balmy Charcoal Face Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy Body Cream with little pieces of Pumice Powder in it into a thin and balmy yet ever so slightly gritty Charcoal Face Mask that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, matte, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clearer and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Jar with a Plastic screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and medicinal yet ever so slightly grassy Eucalyptus scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but given that it was called a Purifying Glow Mask it would have been nice if it had also contained a little bit of Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, or maybe even Tartaric Acid to give my Skin an even deeper amount of exfoliation.
