Oh, Did You Put A Hex On My Body? | Lush Halloween 2024 Range

I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again, one of my favourite times of the year, especially when it comes to Lush, definitely has to be Halloween, as I absolutely love seeing all of the cool, quirky and usually spooky themed products that they release. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a Halloween 2024 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Brain Freeze Bath Bomb, a Dancing Skeleton Bath Bomb, an I Want My Mummy Bath Bomb, a Hocus Pocus Soakus Bubble Bar, a Bottle of Glow In The Dark Shower Gel, a Bottle of Scan Me For Scares Shower Gel, a Tub of Toil and Trouble Shower Slime, a Jar of Blood Orange Lip Scrub, and a Roasting Chestnuts Lush Melt, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all nine delicious smelling products.

The Lush Brain Freeze Bath Bomb.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Popping Candy, Peppermint Oil, Cypress Oil, Spearmint Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Fine Sea Salt, Cream Of Tartar, Water, Cornstarch, Talc, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Dipropylene Glycol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Limonene, Fragrance, Colour 42090:2, Colour 45410:2, Colour 42090, Colour 45410, Colour 77491, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and uplifting yet ever so slightly grassy Mint scent to it that kind of reminded me of a Stick of Wrigley’s Double Mint Chewing Gum.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful dark Blue all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous dark Purple all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful dark Blue to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering dark Purple colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that made it sound like a Brain was actually popping in my Bath.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and uplifting yet ever so slightly grassy Mint for hours after I had used it.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly runny, and was more like an incredibly thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly runny Hyaluronic Acid Serum rather than a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly runny Hyaluronic Acid Serum into a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body. I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Castor Sugar, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Blood Orange Oil, Davana Oil, Tagetes Oil, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Citral, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Flavour, Colour 15985:1, and Colour 19140:1, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Blood Orange taste to it that kind of reminded me of eating an entire Packet of Orange Starburst on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped a little bit of it out of it’s Jar and had started to rub it against my Skin, it started to release lots of little shards of oily Castor Sugar all over my Lips that eventually dissolved into a thin and buttery Lip Balm that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Lips feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left them tasting of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Blood Orange for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it ever so slowly started to melt before releasing streams of beautiful bright Orange and gorgeous bright Red all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended together to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering burnt Orange colour.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly woody Cherry Bakewell for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as one Cube managed to fill my entire Room with it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly woody Cherry Bakewell scent that lasted for hours even after I had stopped burning it.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 6 hours of burn time out of each individual Cube, but as I used an Electric Wax Melt Warmer, I easily got at least 10 hours of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly woody Cherry Bakewell scent out of it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came wrapped in a really thick piece of Recycled Paper that I thought looked really professional, I would have preferred it if it had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub or Tray.
