For me, there’s nothing better when you’ve been out in the Rain all day than getting Home and jumping straight in to a roaring hot Shower. That’s why when I went to the Lush Manchester Holiday 2024 Preview a couple of weeks ago to check out all of their Christmas 2024 range, I obviously had to stop by their Shower & Body Care Department to check out all of their delicious smelling Christmas Body Washes, Body Scrubs, Shower Gels and Shower Jellies. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Block of Christmas Peppermint Delight Body Wash, a Tub of Elfish Shower Jelly, a Tub of Shoot For The Stars Body Scrub, a Tub of Snow Fairy Body Scrub, and a Bottle of Snow Fairy Milkshake Shower Gel, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

The Lush Christmas Peppermint Delight Body Wash.

Sweet minty excitement.
Wake yourself up on Christmas Morning for a day of excitement with a stimulating Sugar Mint rush in the Shower or Bath. It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Granulated Sugar, Agar Agar Gel, Invert Sugar Syrup, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Fresh Mint Infusion, Fragrance, Aquafaba Powder, Peppermint Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Xanthan Gum, Almond Oil, Cream Of Tartar, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Talc, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Benzyl Alcohol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 15851, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and minty yet ever so slightly creamy Peppermint scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Tub of Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and minty yet ever so slightly creamy Peppermint for at least half an hour after I had used it.

The Lush Elfish Shower Jelly.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Maple Syrup Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Carrageenan Extract, Fragrance, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil, Water, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 45350, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Raspberry Ripple scent to it that kind of reminded me of eating a Screwball Ice Cream from the Ice Cream Van on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Jelly, I thought that it felt really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and was more like a really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy Ball of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Jelly.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it started to release lots of thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Raspberry Ripple for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical clear Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Shoot For The Stars Body Scrub.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Fine Sea Salt, Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Glycerine, Brazilian Orange Oil, Bergamot Oil, Creamed Coconut, Lactic Acid, Cornstarch, Carrageenan Extract, Gardenia Extract, Titanium Dioxide, Lauryl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Silica, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 42090:2, Colour 42090, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Honey scent to it that kind of reminded me of eating a piece of Toast smothered in some locally sourced Honey.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gritty yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gritty yet ever so slightly watery Shower Scrub rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Body Scrub. I also really liked that it’s little Jelly Stars felt really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and were more like really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy Balls of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Jelly.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Scrub into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Body Scrub that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that once I had started to massage one of it’s Jelly Stars into my Skin, that it started to release lots of thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, soft, calm, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Honey for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Clear Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Castor Sugar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Fragrance, Organic Almond Oil, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Cornstarch, Persian Lime Oil, Lactic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Ruby Cocoa Liquor, Talc, Synthetic Musk, Lauryl Betaine, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Limonene, Colour 45410:2, Colour 47005:1, Colour 77491, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly synthetic Candy Floss scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bag of Candy Floss.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Soap & Sugar Whipped Scrub rather than a thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Body Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Soap & Sugar Whipped Scrub into a thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Sugar Scrub that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, squeaky clean, soft, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly synthetic Candy Floss for hours after I had used it.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Clear Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Oat Milk, Water, Calcium Lactate Gluconate, Fine Sea Salt, Fragrance, Lauryl Betaine, Titanium Dioxide, Fresh Cherry Juice, Lactic Acid, Persian Lime Oil, Synthetic Musk, Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Limonene, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy and synthetic Candy Floss scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had blended up an entire Bag of Candy Floss into a massive Glass of Milk.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Milk rather than a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Milk into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, calm, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy and synthetic Candy Floss for hours after I had used it.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Clear Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Christmas Peppermint Delight Body Wash a seven point five out of ten, the Lush Elfish Shower Jelly an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Shoot For The Stars Body Scrub a nine point five out of ten, the Lush Snow Fairy Body Scrub an eight point five out of ten, and the Lush Snow Fairy Milkshake Shower Gel a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Christmas Peppermint Delight Body Wash, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and minty yet ever so slightly creamy Peppermint scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but no matter what I did I just couldn’t seem to stop it from becoming mushy. I really liked the Lush Elfish Shower Jelly, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Raspberry Ripple scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a smaller Tub. I really liked the Lush Shoot For The Stars Body Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Honey scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in some other scents, like Christmas Eve, Hot Toddy, or maybe even Snowcake. I really liked the Lush Snow Fairy Body Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly synthetic Candy Floss scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a little bit more Castor Sugar to give my Skin an even deeper amount of exfoliation. I really liked the Lush Snow Fairy Milkshake Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy and synthetic Candy Floss scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range., ,
