What happened when I visited Lush Leeds Spa for a Tangled Hair Spa Treatment.
Once we had arrived in Leeds, and had gone for a Coffee, we eventually headed to Lush Leeds Spa, which is next-door to Bird & Blend Tea Company, and opposite Itsu on Commercial Street in Leeds City Centre.
Then once we had walked into the very spacious and rustic-looking Store, and had wandered around for a couple of minutes, we were very kindly greeted by one of the really friendly Staff Members who said hi and asked us if we were ok. We said hi back, that yes we were, and that we were there to have one of their Spa Treatments, and after a couple of seconds of us all chatting, she said that we could go check in with Belle, the Spa Receptionist, and that she hoped that we had a great time. Then once we had walked over to the Checkout Area and had said hi to Belle, she took us through all of the different Spa Questions, including do we have any Allergies, have we been poorly in the past week, and did we have any questions about what was going to happen during the Treatment, before passing us over to one of the Spa Therapists that would be performing our Treatments.

We then said hi to Katie, one of the Spa Therapists, who took us over to their Spa Entrance and said that she would guide us down the Stairs as the Staircase down to their Spa is a little bit awkward to navigate, especially if you’re Disabled. Then once we had finally made it to the bottom and had arrived into the Spa Kitchen, Katie offered us both a nice refreshing Glass of Cucumber-Infused Water before explaining a little bit about what was going to happen during the Treatment. Then once we had finished our Water, she took us both into one of the Double Treatment Rooms which has been specially designed for Couples, and guided me to one of the Beds so that I could sit down. She then explained all about the Treatment, including that she would be massaging my Arms, Back, Chest and Scalp as well as using Hot Stones to massage my Face before finishing off with a swipe of one of their Spa Exclusive Temple Balms, and that the Music that was playing in the background was created by the Fresh Handmade Collective, was composed by Richard Evans and features Nick Luscombe, Midori Komachi, and a Shakuhachi Bamboo Flute Player. She then said that she would leave the Room for a minute or two so that I could remove my Jumper and Shoes and get underneath the Blanket that was on the Bed.
Then once she had left the Room, I had removed my Jumper and Shoes and had gotten comfy underneath the Blanket on the really comfy and heated Bed, she returned and said in a very relaxing tone that my Spa Treatment was now beginning.

What happened during the Spa Treatment.
Once she had said that my Spa Treatment was now beginning, she encouraged me to get comfy and that I could close my Eyes if I wanted to before starting the massage. She first massaged my Shoulders before moving her Hands down my Back and applied quite a really deep amount of pressure that I thought was wonderful as that’s where I tend to get really tense, before working her way up to my Scalp where she applied a really gentle but nice fluttering technique that felt really relaxing as i’ve had some Scalp Treatments in the past that I wasn’t particularly a fan of. She then moved back down towards my Back and lightly massaged my Shoulders again before moving onto my Arms. This is the bit that I did find a little but weird though, as once she had massaged down my Arms using a really firm massaging technique, she lifted my Arm out from underneath the Blanket and pulled and pushed it to massage some of my Arm Muscles before doing the same to the other Arm. Then once she had massaged both of my Arms and had placed them back underneath the Blanket, she moved on to my Chest and performed a really relaxing tapping technique that felt amazing. She then repeated all this about two or three times, I can’t really remember how many as I felt so relaxed, before moving on to my Face.
She then started to massage my entire Face with two recently warmed Stones, including a really nice sweeping technique across my Cheeks, a slight scrubbing technique on my Forehead, and even a really nice zig-zagging technique around my Chin and Beard. She then applied a couple of swipes of their Spa Exclusive Temple Balm that mostly smelt of Peppermint and Eucalyptus, before saying that my Treatment was now finished and that she hoped that I had enjoyed myself. She then also said that she would leave the Room for a couple of minutes so that I could get my Jumper and Shoes back on and that she would meet us back in the Spa Kitchen before taking us back upstairs.
Once we had both finished our Spa Treatments and had met her back in the Spa Kitchen, we all chatted for a couple of minutes before she guided us both back up the winding Staircase and back into the bustling Store.

Then once we had finally gotten used to our surroundings again, as coming back upstairs from their Spa feels rather trippy, we wandered around the Store for a couple of minutes and checked out some of their recently released products before heading back into Leeds City Centre to grab some Food.
I had a fantastic time receiving a Lush Tangled Hair Spa Treatment at Lush Leeds Spa, and if you would like to find out more about their Spa Treatments, including which of their other Stores also offer them ,then you can find them online here.
I was very kindly given a Lush Tangled Hair Spa Treatment as part of their Lush Club Rewards System, but all thoughts, opinions, and general ramblings are my own.
