One of my favourite limited edition Lush ranges definitely has to be their Valentine’s Day range, as I absolutely love seeing all of the cool and quirky products that they’ve released and seeing how many innuendos they can fit into a products name, design or description. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Valentine’s Day 2022 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Love Bug Bath Bomb, a Kim The Carrot Bubble Bar, a Bottle of the Temptation Shower Gel, a Tub of the Strawberry Heart Shower Jelly, and a Hot Lips Lip Mask and Scrub, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all five delicious smelling products.

The Love Bug Bath Bomb.

Fruity, floral four-wheel fizzer.

How to use.

Redy, run your Bath.
Set, add your Love Bug.
Go!
Sink into the tangy Sherbet scent of Orange and Sicilian Lemon for a Valentine’s Day Bath that will get your Heart racing.

How to store.

Under the Hud you’ll find our Plastic-free sustainable in-house Lustres adding extra shimmer, so keep somewhere cool and dry before you are ready to rally.

The Kim The Carrot Bubble Bar.

A bunch of Candy sweet Bubbles.

How to use.

Scented with a sweet Candy Fragrance, crumble under running Water for soft Vanilla and Benzoin scented Bubbles, perfect for your Valentine’s Day Bath.

How to store.

Like all Veggies, Kim The Carrot likes to be kept somewhere cool and dry before accompanying you to the Bath.

The Temptation Shower Gel.

A juicy, aphrodisiac cleanse.

How to use.

A Red Apple Shower Gel packed with aphrodisiac Red Roses, Cinnamon and Ginseng. Simply lather all over your Body and rinse off.

The Strawberry Heart Shower Jelly.

Give your Heart this Valentine’s Day.

How to use.

Make your Heart wobble as you sweep this rich Strawberry scented Jelly all over. Let it’s anatomically correct form bubble and lather before rinsing off for softened Skin.

The Hot Lips Lip Mask and Scrub.

Softened, smooth Cherry Lips.

How to use.

For Cherry Bakewell flavoured kisses pop this Mask on to your Lips for ten minutes to soothe and soften with a blend of anti-inflammatory Calendula Infusion, Glycerine and Carrageenan Extract.
Once finished, rub the 100% biodegradable Mask on to your Lips to polish and remove any dead Skin Cells thanks to natural Ground Bamboo.

How to store.

Store in the Fridge until ready to use. This Cherry treat for the Lips will stay fresh for three weeks.

The Lush Love Bug Bath Bomb.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Organic Sweet Orange Oil, Rose Oil, Water, Cream Of Tartar, Titanium Dioxide, Cornstarch, Talc, Dipropylene Glycol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Tin Oxide, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 45410:1, Colour 15850:1, Colour 45510, Colour 45510:1, Colour 42090:2, Colour 42090, Colour 45350, Colour 47005:1, Colour 77491, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of sitting under an Orange Tree during Summer.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Blue all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Pink all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended together to turn my entire Bath a beautiful bright Purple colour. Then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of stunning Silver Lustre all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Purple to turn my entire Bath a stunning Shimmering Violet colour.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Orange for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Kim The Carrot Bubble Bar.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream Of Tartar, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Fragrance, Benzoin Resinoid, Vanilla Absolute, Fresh Carrot Juice, Fresh Ginger Root, Titanium Dioxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Eugenol, Colour 15510, and Green Raffia, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Banana scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Bag of Foam Bananas Sweets.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had crumbled a little bit of it under some running Water and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft vibrant bright Orange Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Clouds at Sunset.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Banana for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Temptation Shower Gel.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Cinnamon Stick, Red Rose Petals and Ginseng Infusion, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Glycerine, Water, Lauryl Betaine, Fragrance, Organic Apple Juice, Myrrh Resinoid, Orange Flower Absolute, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar, Lactic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Eugenol, Hydroxycitronellol, Linalool, Colour 14700, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Red Apple scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had blended up an entire Bag of Red Apples with some Rose Water.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Cream rather than a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Cream into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Red Apple for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Strawberry Heart Shower Jelly.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Carrageenan Extract, Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Fragrance, Fresh Strawberry Juice, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Lime Oil, Ho Wood Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 14700, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Strawberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Bag of Haribo Giant Strawberry Sweets.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Jelly, I thought that it felt really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and was more like a really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy Ball of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Jelly.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it started to release lots of thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Strawberry for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Hot Lips Lip Mask and Scrub.

It’s taste.

I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Calendula Petal and Hibiscus Flower Infusion, Glycerine, Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Bamboo Stem Extract, Carrageenan Extract, Davana Oil, Lime Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Benzyl Alcohol, Eugenol, Limonene, Flavour, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly bitter Cherry Bakewell taste to it that kind of reminded me of eating a massive Slice of Bakewell Tart smothered in some Cherry Jam on a freezing cold Winter’s Day.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Lip Mask and Scrub, I thought that it felt really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and was more like a really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy piece of Shower Jelly rather than a really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly watery Hydrogel Lip Mask and Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had removed it from it’s packaging and had smoothed it across my Lips, it very slowly moulded itself to my Lips and started to ever so slowly release little droplets of Carrageenan Extract and Water all over my Lips that helped to stick the massive piece of Carrageenan Extract to my Mouth. I also really liked that once I had started to rub the massive piece of Carrageenan Extract across my Lips, that it started to release little pieces of Bamboo Stem Extract all over my Mouth that helped to give my Lips a really good scrub.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Lips feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them looking much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it. I did however notice that it left my Lips feeling incredibly sticky for at least ten minutes after I had used it though, but that more or less disappeared once I had applied a very thin layer of Lip Balm.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came wrapped in a little piece of Biodegradable Plastic that was securely sealed with a Sticky Label which meant that it stayed incredibly fresh until I was ready to use it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Love Bug Bath Bomb an eight out of ten, the Lush Kim The Carrot Bubble Bar a nine out of ten, the Lush Temptation Shower Gel an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Strawberry Heart Shower Jelly an eight point five out of ten, and the Lush Hot Lips Lip Mask and Scrub a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Love Bug Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Orange scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Orange. I really liked the Lush Kim The Carrot Bubble Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Banana scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt even stronger. I really liked the Lush Temptation Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Red Apple scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Apple. I really liked the Lush Strawberry Heart Shower Jelly, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Strawberry scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Strawberry. I really liked the Lush Hot Lips Lip Mask and Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly bitter Cherry Bakewell scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it hadn’t left my Lips feeling so sticky after I had used it, that it was also available as a Lip Balm, and that it was also part of their main range.
