At the beginning or end of a long day, for me, there’s nothing better than the feel of an incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft and intensely hydrated Beard. That’s why when the guys over at Man Made Beard Company very kindly asked me if I would like to try a Bottle of their Lemon & Orange Beard Shampoo, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Castor Seed Oil, Argan Kernel Oil, Glycerin, Lemon Peel Oil, Orange Peel Oil, Hydrolized Wheat Protein, Zanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Citric Acid, Tocopherol, Sunflower Seed Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Citral, and Limonene, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sour Orange and Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Fresh Orange Juice garnished with Ice and a slice of Lemon on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Beard Shampoo, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Beard Shampoo.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Beard, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel into a thick and frothy yet ever so slightly creamy Beard Shampoo that spread really easily through my Beard.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Beard feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy, thicker, fuller and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sour Lemon and Orange for at least half an hour after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Man Made Beard Company Lemon & Orange Beard Shampoo a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sour Orange and Lemon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had left my Beard feeling a little bit more moisturised. I also wish that it was available as a Beard Conditioner or a Beard Oil too, so that I could enjoy it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sour Orange and Lemon scent all day long..
