Some of my favourite Beard Care products definitely has to be anything that smells fresh and zesty, like Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon, or Lime. That’s why when the guys over at Wild Hare UK very kindly told me that I had won a Beard Monsters Grapefruit & Orange Blast Beard Balm & Beard Oil Combo as part of their Charity Raffle, I was obviously really excited to get my Hands on it and start using it. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Beard Monsters say about both delicious smelling products.

The Beard Monsters Grapefruit & Orange Blast Beard Balm.

Crisp, citrus top notes of juicy Grapefruit and Mandarin Orange followed by hints of Mint and Sage adds a serious blast to this refreshing fragrance.
A smooth moisturising Beard Balm with a refreshing blast of Grapefruit and Mandarin Orange.
Our Beard Balm is blended using the finest ingredients to leave you with a softer, conditioned, moisturised and healthier Beard.
A crisp, Citrus Essential Oil blend with top notes of juicy Grapefruit and Mandarin Orange followed by hints of Mint and Sage adds a serious blast to this refreshing fragrance.
This Beard Balm has been specially formulated to control, tame and hydrate your Man Mane. Using only the finest natural ingredients such as Shea Butter which is an anti-inflammatory and will help with irritation and helps the Beard to seal in moisture. Cocoa Butter is a moisturiser and helps with Hair Breakages and can help with adding volume and strength to your Beard. Sweet Almond Oil helps with Split Ends and contains Vitamin E that will give your Beard it’s core nutrients that keeps it both soft, healthy and nourished. The natural Bees Wax is there to give you not only great styling but also diminishes the signs of ageing.

Directions for use.

1. Apply to a clean, dry Beard.
2. Scrape a Pea sized, depending on Beard length amount of Balm out using the back of your Thumb Nail and rub it between your Hands to melt the Balm.
3. Apply to your Beard ensuring an even coverage, rubbing into your Beard and the Skin underneath and comb through styling as needed.

The Beard Monsters Grapefruit & Orange Blast Beard Oil.

A rich non-greasy Beard Oil with a refreshing blast of Grapefruit and Mandarin Orange.
Our base range Beard Oils are made using natural Carriers which are perfect for Male Grooming and are Vegan friendly. Using the finest Carrier Oils perfectly blended for nourishing and conditioning the Beard and the Skin underneath, they help prevent Beard Itch and Dandruff, keeping your Beard fuller, softer and tamer.
A crisp, Citrus Essential Oil blend with top notes of juicy Grapefruit and Mandarin Orange followed by hints of Mint and Sage adds a serious blast to this refreshing fragrance.

Directions for use.

1. Splash your Face with Warm Water and dry your Beard.
2. Apply the desired amount of Oil into your Palms and rub together.
3. Apply to your Beard ensuring an even coverage, rubbing into your Beard and the Skin underneath and comb through styling as needed.

• Stubble : 1 drop.
• Small Beard : 1 to 2 drops.
• Medium Beard : 2 to 3 drops.
• Long Beard : 6 drops.

The Beard Monsters Grapefruit & Orange Blast Beard Balm.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Bees Wax, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a very fizzy Bottle of Fanta.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Beard Balm, I thought that it felt incredibly rich and creamy yet ever so slightly waxy, and was more like an incredibly rich and creamy yet ever so slightly waxy Styling Wax rather than a thick and balmy yet ever so slightly waxy Beard Balm.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped some of it out of it’s Tin and had started to massage it into my Beard, it turned from an incredibly rich and creamy yet ever so slightly waxy Styling Wax into a thick and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Beard Balm that spread really easily through my Beard.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Beard feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, thicker, fuller, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking a lot shinier, kept it in place all day and left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Orange for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Metal Tin with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Beard Monsters Grapefruit & Orange Blast Beard Oil.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Apricot Kernel Oil, Crambe Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a very fizzy Bottle of Fanta.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Beard Oil, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy  Facial Serum rather than a thick and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Beard Oil.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Beard, it turned from an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Beard Oil that spread really easily through my Beard.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Beard and the Skin underneath and around it feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, thicker, fuller, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking a lot shinier, much healthier and smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Orange for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Beard Monsters Grapefruit & Orange Blast Beard Balm a nine out of ten, and the Beard Monsters Grapefruit & Orange Blast Beard Oil a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Beard Monsters Grapefruit & Orange Blast Beard Balm, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had been a little bit more creamier. I really liked the Beard Monsters Grapefruit & Orange Blast Beard Oil, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt even stronger.
