Hi, all my wonderful viewers, how is everyone doing today?
Today, is the first Monday of the month, and of course, that means it’s Shine the Spotlight time.
Today, i’m going to shine the spotlight on… Mikhela from Miss Budget Beauty.
As always with these posts, a little background.
Mikhela, is an amazing 28 year old mother of two from Doncaster, South Yorkshire. She not only raises her two adorable children, but she also runs a household, works a busy part time job, and she also, runs not one, but two YouTube channels. As well as all that, she also runs a extremely highly successful blog. Which in 2014, was awarded the Cosmo Blog Awards, Best Beauty Blog 2014.
Mikhela’s two YouTube channels, couldn’t be more oposite from one and other. The first, Miss Budget Beauty, is a beauty channel that promotes a flawless look on a very tight budget. Her other, Diary of a Spendaholic, documents all of her bank breaking beauty and lifestyle purchases.
Her blog, also named Miss Budget Beauty, runs alongside her channel of the same name. This also promotes great beauty on a low budget, but there’s also lifestyle, home and decor, and many other kinds of posts.
Now that i’ve given you a little background, let me move onto why I like her so much.
Mikhela has the most incredible personality, both on her blog and on her channels. She does like many of the blogs I read, write product reviews, but with her reviews, I know I can trust what she says. She does from time to time, get contacted by brands to review their products, but don’t worry, just because she was sent something, doesn’t mean she’ll love it. If she doesn’t like something, she’ll tell you, so I know I can trust her opinion.
I also watch her Spendaholic channel, mainly because of her vlogs. Every week she posts a new vlog, which follows her, and her families day to day goings on. This does from time to time include her adorable two children, Mylo aged 3, and Ella aged 8. I think I love her vlogs, mainly because of the family element. I don’t really watch a lot of family orientated vlogs. Most of the vlogs I watch on YouTub,e are mostly from women aged between, 18 and 24.
I also love her blog. Each weekday there’s something new. Wether it’s s makeu pst, a new candle she loves, or something else, what ever she posts i’m hooked. You know that what ever she is writting about, she knows her stuff.
Her writting style is extremely informal. It’s like all of my other blogs I follow, she writes as if you’re sat in her kitchen having a nice chat with a massive cup of tea.
Mikhela really is incredable. All of her content is fantastic, and if you haven’t checked her out before, you really should. I’ve left links to all of her channels, and her blog below.
