Simply Repairing My Face | Simple Repairing Rich Face Cream

I absolutely love finishing off my Evening Skincare Routine with a nice, thick layer of some kind of Barrier Repair Cream, especially when i’m using Retinol, as I really like waking up with silky soft, smooth, hydrated an intensely moisturised Skin. That’s why when I saw that Simple had released a Repairing Rich Face Cream that claims to leave you with silky soft, hydrated and deeply moisturised Skin whilst I was scrolling through Boots’ Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short cylindrical bright white plastic tub with a bright white plastic lid that has Simple Repairing Rich Face Cream written in dark purple writing and a picture of a dark green leaf on it, on a white background.

How to use.

Apply a small amount of Cream to cleansed Skin, gently massage in an upward motion until fully absorbed.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Propanediol, Stearyl Alcohol, Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Stearic Acid, Tapioca Starch, Dicaprylyl Ether, C15-19 Alkane, Caprylyl Glycol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Polyglyceryl-6 Laurate, Panthenol, Citric Acid, Tiger Grass Leaf Extract, Polyglycerin-6, Sorbitan Oleate, Cetyl Alcohol, Sorbitan Isostearate, Arachidyl Alcohol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Pantolactone, and Tocopherol, I thought that it had a very subtile sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly grassy Tiger Grass scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had soaked some pieces of Tiger Grass in a massive Jug of Skimmed Milk.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Butter rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Face Cream.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Butter into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Face Cream that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Simple Repairing Rich Face Cream a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly grassy Tiger Grass scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a much bigger Tub, as 50ml of a Moisturiser doesn’t last that long, especially if you’re applying it Morning and Evening like you’re supposed to do.
