I’ve recently somehow managed to develop a very weird Bump in the middle of my Chest, and have been using various different Chemical Exfoliants and Physical Body Scrubs to hopefully try and get rid of it. Unfortunately though, all of the exfoliation has sadly left the Skin around it feeling incredibly dry, rough and dehydrated, which means that i’ve been on the look out for anything that will return it to it’s incredibly silky soft, smooth and hydrated feeling former self. That’s why when I saw that the Holland and Barrett 2024 Beauty Advent Calendar included a Tube of the Q+A Ceramide Body Lotion that claims to leave you with silky soft, smooth and moisturised Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

For ultimate nourishment and deep moisturisation, the Ceramide Body Lotion is packed with Squalane, Pineapple Ceramides and a Barrier-protecting Sugar Complex. How to use.

Massage into dry Skin.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sunflower Seed Oil, Ceramide NP, Pineapple Fruit Extract, Squalane, Jojoba Seed Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Olive Glycerides, Xylitol, Xylitylglucoside, Carbomer, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Glucose, Sodium Gluconate, Coco-Glucoside, Cyclodextrin, Anhydroxylitol, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Coconut Alcohol, Sodium Hydroxide, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate, and Coumarin, I thought that it had a very overpowering sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly soapy Pistachio scent to it that kind of reminded me of some very cheap Supermarket own brand Pistachio scented Soap.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Lotion, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Hot Cloth Cleanser rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Body Lotion.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Hot Cloth Cleanser into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Lotion that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, much healthier and smelling of very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly soapy Pistachio for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Q+A Ceramide Body Lotion an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very overpowering sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly soapy Pistachio scent.
