One of the things that I absolutely love about The Yorkshire Soap Company definitely has to be that no matter what the Season, whether that’s Christmas, Halloween, or Mother’s Day, they always have some really cool and quirky looking Soaps that are perfect to give to someone as a Gift. That’s why when I saw that they had released their Halloween 2023 range whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pop in and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Pumpkin Novelty Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Ensure a spooktacular Halloween with our brand new Pumpkin Novelty Soap! Designed to leave your Skin scarily soft and smelling sweet, this Handmade Treat has been blended with a Pumpkin Spice and Ginger Cake fragrance and our Vegan friendly Vegetable Glycerine formula.
This seasonal Pumpkin Spice and Ginger Cake inspired scent is sweet, spicy and filled with the warming coziness of the Autumn Harvest.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Stearate, Sorbitol, Sucrose, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Laurate, Glycerin, Sodium Myristate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Stearic Acid, Fragrance, Lauric Acid, Myristic Acid, Tetrasodium Iminodisuccinate, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Benzyl Benzoate, Coumarin, Benzyl Salicylate, Eugenol, CI 15985, CI 77891, CI 77019, CI 77891, and CI 77861, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and biscuity yet ever so slightly spicy Pumpkin scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Coconut Ring Biscuits into a massive Bowl of Pumpkin Puree.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather that spread really easily across my Hands.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of very strange sweet and biscuity yet ever so slightly spicy Pumpkin for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

it’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a really thick and soft glittery Black Silk Organza Bag that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Yorkshire Soap Company Pumpkin Novelty Soap a seven point five out of ten. I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and biscuity yet ever so slightly spicy Pumpkin scent.
