Watching The Cherry Blossoms Fall | Yankee Candle Sakura Blossom Festival Collection

Yankee Candle have recently released their Sakura Blossom Festival collection, which includes Majestic Mount Fuji, Sakura Blossom Festival, and Sweet Plum Sake, and being the Candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and pick them all up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Yankee Candle say about all three delicious smelling Candles.

Majestic Mount Fuji.

Enjoy the fresh Mountain Air and cool watery tones all while notes of Coconut Water and dewy Pear scents swirl around as you gaze upon the iconic Mountain back drop to the Cherry Blossoms. Yankee Candle Majestic Mount Fuji also contains top notes of Crisp Ozone, Sparkling Aldehydes, Bergamot and Dewy Pear, heart notes of Cactus Flower, Aloe Vera, Apple Blossom and Coconut Water, and base notes of Amber Wood, Blue Musk, Tea Leaves and Cedarwood.

Sakura Blossom Festival.

From your Picnic Blanket at a Sakura celebration. A sweet Bouquet of Cherry Blossom, Rose and Freesia notes dance through the Air and join the festivities. Yankee Candle Sakura Blossom Festival also contains top notes of Red Berries, Apple and Pink Grapefruit, heart notes of Rose, Freesia and Cherry Blossom, and base notes of Sandalwood, Vanilla and Almond Milk.

Sweet Plum Sake.

End the perfect day of celebrations with a Glass of Sake, and delicate aromas of sweet Plum mix with an enticing pairing of Raspberry and Rice Wine notes. Yankee Candle Sweet Plum Sake also contains top notes of Lemon Juice, Japanese Plum, Fuji Apple and Raspberry, heart notes of Red Currant, Black Fig, Mango and Rice Wine accord, and base notes of Coconut Wood, Vanilla and Aged Merlot.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sparkling Aldehydes, Coconut Water, and Tea Leaves, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and airy yet ever so slightly fruity Apple Blossom scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone was sat at the top of a Mountain eating a really juicy Apple. I could definitely smell the Crisp Ozone, Sparkling Aldehydes, Bergamot, Dewy Pear, Aloe Vera, Apple Blossom, Amber Wood, Tea Leaves, and Cedarwood, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious fresh and airy yet ever so slightly fruity Apple scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Cactus Flower, Coconut Water, or Blue Musk, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill both my Room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s delicious fresh and airy yet ever so slightly fruity Apple Blossom scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 160 hours of delicious fresh and airy yet ever so slightly fruity Apple Blossom scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Pink Grapefruit, Freesia, and Almond Milk, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry Blossom scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past a Cherry Tree on a balmy Spring Afternoon. I could definitely smell the Red Berries, Apple, Rose, Freesia, Cherry Blossom, Sandalwood, and Vanilla, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry Blossom scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Pink Grapefruit or Almond Milk, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Lemon Juice, Black Fig, and Aged Merlot, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly bitter Peach scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you make a massive Dish of Peach Cobbler. My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Majestic Mount Fuji an eight out of ten, the Yankee Candle Sakura Blossom Festival an eight out of ten, and the Yankee Candle Sweet Plum Sake an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Yankee Candle Majestic Mount Fuji, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and airy yet ever so slightly fruity Apple Blossom scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but it unfortunately managed to give me a Migraine if I left it burning for any more than a couple of hours at a time. I really liked the Yankee Candle Sweet Plum Sake, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly bitter Peach scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but given that it was called Sweet Plum Sake, it would have been nice if it had actually smelt of Plum.
