As you probably already know, I absolutely love relaxing with a nice long Bath. That’s why when the guys over at Sanctuary Bathrooms very kindly asked me if I would like to share the things that I need for the perfect Pamper Session with you as part of their Perfect Night In campaign, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been thinking about it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you the five things that I need for the perfect Pamper Session.
What is Sanctuary Bathrooms?
Sanctuary Bathrooms, is a family owned Bathroom supplier that specialises in full Bathroom Suites, Bathtubs, Showers, Taps, Bathroom Accessories and everything else that you need to create the perfect Bathroom based in Leeds.
Anyway, that’s enough of me rambling, here’s the five things that I need for the perfect Pamper Session.
1. Some nice smelling Bath Products.
The first thing that I need for the perfect Pamper Session definitely has to be a nice smelling Bath, which means that I need some of my favourite Bath & Body products, including a Bath Bomb, a delicious smelling Shower Gel, and a fantastic smelling but gritty Body Scrub. I’m currently loving the Nivea Shower Cream Gel Indulgent Moisture Orange Shower Cream as it has a delicious fresh and zesty Orange scent, a brilliant thick and creamy yet ever so slightly watery consistency, and leaves my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, and the Lavera Soothing Body Scrub, as it has a delicious fresh and zesty Lime scent, a great thick and creamy yet gritty consistency, and leaves my Skin feeling extremely soft and smooth.
2. A Face Mask.
When I really want to relax and pamper myself, I find that applying a Face Mask seems to help as I usually aren’t allowed to move my Face whilst i’m wearing one. I’m currently loving the GlamGlow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment, as it has a brilliant thick and creamy consistency, and leaves my Skin feeling silky soft, moisturised and bouncy.
3. A nice smelling room.
For me, the perfect Pamper Session also has to include a nice smelling room as I can’t really relax if my surroundings don’t smell nice. This of course means that I have to burn some sort of a Candle or Wax Melt, or spray some kind of a Room Spray. I’m currently loving the Yankee Candle Tarte Tatin, as it has a delicious sweet and biscuity Apple scent, and a really powerful scent throw, and the WoodWick Candles Seaside Mimosa, as it has a gorgeous sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral scent, a really powerful scent throw, and also crackles whilst it burns.
When I really want to relax, I have to try and block out all of the other random noise that surrounds me, which given that I live in a very busy House isn’t particularly easy. This means that I always have to have a good, if ever so slightly eclectic selection of music to hand to try and drown out all of the background noise. I’m currently loving the Your Time Capsule Playlist on Spotify, as it has the perfect blend between really cheesy 90’s classics and songs that I actually like.
5. Food & Drink.
For the perfect Pamper Session I obviously need some kind of food and drink, and for me there’s no food and Drink more indulgent than Chocolate and Prosecco, as not only does Chocolate taste utterly delicious, it also releases Endorphins which work to lessen pain and decrease stress. I’m currently loving the So Free Fair Trade Milk Chocolate Alternative, as not only does it taste really nice, it’s also Lactose Free and is slightly healthier than traditional Chocolate, and the Raffaello Prosecco, as it tastes extremely fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sour, and isn’t as fizzy as some of the other Proseccos that i’ve tried in the past.
There’s a lot more things that I need for the Perfect Pamper Session, but I thought that I would just tell you five of them.
I was very kindly sent a few things from Sanctuary Bathrooms to include in this post, but all thoughts, opinions, and general ramblings are my own.
