Taking A Bath Is Always A Barrel Of Fun | Lush Apple Fun, Glow Worm Fun, Sunset Fun, & Thunderbolt Fun

I absolutely love Lush’s Fun Bars, as I really like that you can use them for so many things including a Soap, a Bubble Var, and a Shampoo. That’s why when I went to Lush Liverpool Spa a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to stop by their Fun Department to check out all of the delicious smelling exclusive Fun Bars that they had on offer. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up the Apple Fun, the Glow Worm Fun, the Sunset Fun, and the Thunderbolt Fun, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all four delicious smelling products.

The Apple Fun.

It may not be golden, but it certainly smells delicious. Go green and give in to temptation with this crisp apple scented bar and live apple-y ever after! Bergamot is part of the citrus family and it’s oil provides a cheery, uplifting fragrance to put a smile on your face and make bath times even brighter.
Plant the seeds of a good bath by crumbling under running water. You can also lather up for an effective shampoo or body wash after you’ve finished making models.
Secret Message, Core!

The Glow Worm Fun.

It glows in the dark! Use this lemongrass wonder to brighten up bath times and make your showers shine! Lemongrass oil from Indonesia soothes the skin, as well as lifting the mood.
Squish this worm into any form you please. When charged with light it will glow in the dark! Lather up for a gentle body and hair wash or crumble under running water for an uplifting bubble bath.

The Sunset Fun.

As the sun sets on another day, capture the last drops of sunlight. A tantalising trio of mandarin, tangerine and bergamot give a burst of citrus to put a smile on your face.
Give it a squeeze and mould any shape you wish, as long as it makes your day brighter and all the more joyful. Sicilian red mandarin oil has a bright and juicy note ideal for lifting the mood and raising the spirits. When the sun has set on your desire to make models, crumble under running water for an energising orange bath, or create suds of sunshine to wash the body and hair.

The Thunderbolt Fun.

Make like Zeus and craft this Fun-derbolt of lightning into whatever form you desire. When you’re done use it as a solid shampoo, bubble bar or soap. After an electrifying lather, you’ll feel on top of the world.

It’s scent

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Cornflour, Glycerin, Bergamot Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Rose Absolute, Orange Flower Absolute, and Neroli Oil, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sweet Apple scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you bite into an Apple.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Soap, I thought that it felt incredibly soft and squishy, and was more like a soft and squishy block of Plasticine rather than a hard and solid block of Soap.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a soft and squishy block of Plasticine into a thick and creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that it created tons of soft and silky vibrant Green coloured Bubbles when I used it as a Bubble Bar, and that it created a thick and creamy lather when I used it as a Shampoo.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin and Hair feeling incredibly silky soft, bouncy and hydrated, but it also left them both smelling of delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sweet Apples for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Cornflour, Glycerin, Lemongrass Oil, Bergamot Oil, and Rosewood Oil, I thought that it had an extremely fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly woody Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past a Lemon Tree during Summer.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Apple Fun a nine out of ten, the Lush Glow Worm Fun a nine out of ten, the Lush Sunset Fun a nine point five out of ten, and the Lush Thunderbolt Fun a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Apple Fun, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sweet Apple scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was a little bit more moisturising. I really like  the Lush Glow Worm Fun, as I absolutely loved it’s fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly woody Lemon scent, it’s consistency ,what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I did find that it was a lot waxier than the other Fun Bars that I had tried. I really liked the Lush Sunset Fun ,as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was a little bit easier to get hold of. I really liked the Lush Thunderbolt Fun, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Banana scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it smelt a little stronger.
