Cleanse Your Face On The Double | Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse

I absolutely love it when my Skin feels squeaky clean. That’s why when I had heard that Pixi had teamed up with one of my favourite people, Caroline Hirons, to create their Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse, I obviously had to give it a go. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A white cylindrical plastic tub full of some white solid oil and some white cream next to a white and green plastic lid that has 1 written in white bold writing, 2 written in bold green writing, and solid cleansing oil and luxe cleansing cream written in gold writing on it, on a white background.

How to apply.

  • Use in the PM daily.
  • Step 1 : Apply a coin size amount of Solid Cleansing Oil onto dry skin. Massage into Skin. Remove with moist facecloth or Water.
  • Step 2 : Double cleanse by following with the application of a coin size amount of Cleansing Cream onto Skin, massaging thoroughly then removing with a moist facecloth.

Step One : Solid Cleansing Oil.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Safflower Oil, Avocado Oil, Camellia Oil, Japonica Oil, and Evening Primrose Oil, I thought that they all blended together to create a strange nutty scent that kind of reminded me of wet Cardboard.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an oil, I thought that it felt really waxy, and was more like a thick and balmy Lip Balm rather than a thin and runny oil.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a thick and balmy Lip Balm into a thin and watery oil that was really easy to spread across my Face.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling extremely squeaky clean, but it also left it feeling incredibly soft and moisturised too.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a thick plastic tub with a screw top lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty shelves.

Step Two : Luxe Cleansing Cream.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Arginine, Ascorbic Acid, and Camellia Japonica Oil, I thought that they all blended together to create a clean and neutral scent that kind of reminded me of fresh ice cold water.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Cleansing Cream, I thought that it felt really thick and balmy and was more like a thick and balmy Night Cream rather than a Cleansing Cream.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a really thick and balmy Cream into a thin and watery Milk that was really easy to spread across my Face.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling extremely squeaky clean, but it also left it feeling plum and incredibly moisturised too.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a thick cylindrical plastic tub with a screw top lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse a nine out of ten. I really liked side one : Solid Cleansing Oil, as I absolutely loved it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s packaging, but unfortunately I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s strange nutty scent. I also really liked side two : Luxe Cleansing Cream, as I absolutely loved it’s clean and neutral watery scent, it’s rich creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that there was a little bit more of it in it’s jar, as I found that I used a lot more of it than the Step One : Solid Cleansing Oil..
