I don’t really have much of an evening routine. I just use a few things before I go to bed at night, and sometimes I wake up with alright looking skin. It’s also all pretty cheap too which is always good.
The first thing I do is cleanse my skin, it’s not really a full face wash, it’s just to get the grime of the day off my skin. I like to switch it up depending on what i’ve been doing, and how my skin is feeling. I either use The Body Shop Tea Tree Facial Wash, this is if my skin feels really oily, the Anovia Micellar Water, this is if my skin is feeling alright and just needs a spritz, or Let The Good Times Roll from Lush, this is if my skin is feeling a little dry and hard.
The next thing I do is moisturise. I like my skin feeling light while i’m sleeping, so I usually use a face serum. I’m currently using either The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum In Oil, or the Full of Grace from Lush. I have the tiniest amount of Kiehls Midnight Recovery left which was a little present to myself last year that I only use if my skin is feeling really dry.
Next I scrub my lips. I know that lip scrubs sound extremely gimicky, but I suffer with really dry and flaky lips, and it really helps. I’m currently using the Lush Santa’s Lip Scrub that I picked up at Christmas.
I then moisturise my lips. I usually use whatever lip balm is on offer at Superdrug, but i’m currently using either The Body Shop’s Frosted Cranberry or Glazed Apple Lip Balm, or the Bulldog Skincare Original Lip B.
That’s everything I do before I crawl into bed, usually at about 1am. I told you it was quick.
