One of my favourite discoveries from last year definitely has to be Dr. Organic, as I think that they offer some amazing Organic and Cruelty Free products at a really affordable price that actually work. That’s why when I saw that they had released a Seaweed Ageless range that claims to use Seaweed to help minimise the look of Fine Lines and Wrinkles whilst I was scrolling through Holland and Barrett’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick some of it up. Well after scrolling through their Website for a good half an hour, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Seaweed Ageless Overnight Recovery Oil, and a Jar of the Seaweed Ageless Eye Contour Serum, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

How to use.
Apply a small amount of Serum at Night to the Skin on the outside of the Eye, gently rub in towards the Nose.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sunflower Seed Oil, Borage Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Brown Algae Extract, Rosemary Leaf Oil, Tocopherol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sea Fennel Extract, and Limonene, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly medicinal Rosemary scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Jug of Seawater over a massive Rosemary Bush.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Facial Oil, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Body Oil rather than a thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Oil.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Body Oil into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Oil that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Sunflower Seed Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Xanthan Gum, Brown Algae Extract, Vegetable Collagen, Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Arginine, Gluconolactone, Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, Xylitol, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Calcium Gluconate, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate, Dehydroacetic Acid, and Chlorophyllin-copper complex, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and oceanic yet ever so slightly chemical Seaweed scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had mixed some freshly caught Seaweed into a massive Tub of Play-Doh.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Eye Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Eye Serum.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Under Eye Area, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Eye Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, refreshed, firm, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant, awake, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short cylindrical Glass Jar with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, I would have preferred it if it had come in some kind of a Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid or in a Tube with a Rollerball Applicator.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Dr. Organic Seaweed Ageless Overnight Recovery Oil an eight point five out of ten, and the Dr. Organic Seaweed Ageless Eye Contour Serum an eight out of ten. I really liked the Dr. Organic Seaweed Ageless Overnight Recovery Oil, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly medicinal Rosemary scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained some kind of Ceramide or Peptide to make it feel like it was doing a little bit more to my Skin. I really liked the Dr. Organic Seaweed Ageless Eye Contour Serum, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and oceanic yet ever so slightly chemical Seaweed scent. I would have also preferred it if it had come in a Bottle with some kind of a Rubber Pipette Lid or in a Tube with a Rollerball Applicator instead of it being in a Glass Jar.
