Defending My Skin Against The Sun | The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi-Protection Face Mist SPF30 PA++

I always like to protect my Skin against the Sun, as even though it might not be sunny outside the Sun’s Rays can still harm your Skin. That’s why when I popped into The Body Shop the other week to pick up some of their Ginger range, I also managed to pick up a Bottle of their Skin Defence Multi-Protection Face Mist SPF30 PA++. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short cylindrical white plastic spray bottle with a black lid and a bright pink label that has The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi-Protection Face Mist SPF30 PA++ written in bold black writing on it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Alcohol Denat, Marula Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, and Red Algae Extract, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and chemically yet ever so slightly fruity Strawberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of if they had mixed a Carton of Strawberry Juice with a Tin of Paint.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Mist, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery Micellar Water rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Face Mist.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to spray a little bit of it onto my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery Micellar Water into a thin and light yet ever so slightly Facial Serum that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, refreshed, matte and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing and radiant for at least twenty minutes after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t leave a very sticky or greasy film all over my Face like some of the other SPF Face Mists that i’ve tried in the past.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a Spray Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi-Protection Face Mist SPF30 PA++ an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and watery consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and chemically yet ever so slightly fruity Strawberry scent. I also thought that it was a little bit overpriced for the amount of product that you actually got.
