Even though I generally use some kind of a Chemical Exfoliant to exfoliate my Skin, I do from time to time use some kind of a Physical Exfoliant whenever it’s feeling particularly dry and rough as I absolutely love the super silky soft feeling that a Physical Exfoliant leaves behind. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released their Face & Body Scrub 2022 range that also contains their first ever Vitamin C Skincare product, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Tub of the Bright and Beautiful Vitamin C Exfoliating Facial Scrub, a Tub of the Co-Mingle Body Scrub, and a Tub of the Happy Skin Enzymic Facial Scrub, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all three amazing products.

The Bright and Beautiful Vitamin C Exfoliating Facial Scrub.

Vitamin C and Charcoal.

How to use.

Up the ante with our first ever Vitamin C product. This dual-use foaming Scrub has Vitamin C benefits for Skin, and is antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.
This exfoliating Face Scrub has a 10% Vitamin C formula, which may tingle during use as it exfoliates dead Skin Cells.
For maximum effect, use as a Face Mask and apply to a clean, dry Face, leaving for one to two minutes. Rinse off with Water and pat dry.
For a more gentle experience, use as a Foaming Face Wash by scooping out a small amount and adding a little Water. Apply to your Face in gentle circular motions before rinsing away.
As it foams when washing off, you’ll also notice that it changes colour from deep Purple to light Pink, leaving you looking radiant.

How to use.

What’s the best Body Scrub? One that also washes and moisturises of course! This Body Exfoliator is super lightweight with a mousse-like texture, with our Ground Tagua Nut and Bamboo combo for scrubbiness. Use on wet Skin, massaging over Legs, Arms and Body to exfoliate, cleanse and moisturise. Let the Organic Lavender aroma surround you, rinse off and step out feeling supremely soft and ready to mingle with time to spare.

How to use.

An exfoliating Scrub to give your Skin the WOW factor. Dampen Skin and scoop out a Finger full of this Vitamin packed Face Exfoliator, massage gently over your Face and Neck allowing the Bromelain rich enzymic Pineapple to break down dead Skin Cells, before Ground Tagua Nut and Bamboo Stem Extract exfoliate your Skin. Rinse off, leaving you with a gently sweet, nutty scented glow.

The Lush Bright and Beautiful Vitamin C Exfoliating Facial Scrub.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Sunflower Oil, Vitamin C Powder, Citric Acid, Fukushima Rapeseed Oil, Soya Oil, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Candelilla Wax, Japan Wax, Grapefruit Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Rose Absolute, Champaca Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, Castor Sugar, Powdered Charcoal, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Cilica, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 17200, Colour 45410, Colour 45410:1, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Orange and Clove scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you stick some Cloves into an Orange to make a Pomander Ball at Christmas.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Exfoliating Facial Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy Hot Cloth Cleanser with little pieces of Castor Sugar in it rather than a thick and gritty yet ever so slightly balmy Exfoliating Facial Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy Hot Cloth Cleanser with little pieces of Castor Sugar in it into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly foamy Facial Wash with little pieces of Castor Sugar in it that spread really easily across my Face.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, matte, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear, a little bit brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Co-Mingle Body Scrub.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Cypress Leaf Infusion, Spring Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Bamboo Stem Extract, Tagua Nut Powder, Almond Oil, Propylene Glycol, Organic Brazil Nut Oil, Vanilla Pod Infusion, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Stearic Acid, Argan Oil, Cupuaçu Butter, Lavender Oil, Goji Berry Juice, Citric Acid, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Carrageenan Extract, Triethanolamine, Cetearyl Alcohol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Coumarin, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a very light and creamy yet ever so slightly medicinal Lavender scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of very cheap Lavender Body Lotion.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Scrub rather than a thick and gritty yet ever so slightly oily Body Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Scrub into a thick and gelatinous Shower Gel with little pieces of Bamboo Stem Extract in it that was very difficult to spread across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, much healthier and smelling of very light and creamy yet ever so slightly medicinal Lavender for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Happy Skin Enzymic Facial Scrub.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Safflower Petal Infusion, Stearic Acid, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Glyceryl Stearate & PEG-100 Stearate, Bamboo Stem Extract, Tagua Nut Powder, Glycerine, Triethanolamine, Cetearyl Alcohol, Argan Oil, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Pineapple Juice, Organic Rose Hip Oil, Jackfruit Juice, Sesame Seed Absolute, Vanilla Absolute, Tonka Absolute, Shea Butter, Coumarin, Fragrance, Methylparaben, and Propylparaben, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a Tub of Muller Light Cherry Yoghurt.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Enzymic Facial Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Balm with little pieces of Bamboo Stem Extract in it rather than a thin and oily yet ever so slightly gritty Enzymic Facial Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Balm with little pieces of Bamboo Stem Extract in it into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Cleansing Oil with little pieces of Bamboo Stem Extract in it that spread really easily across my Face.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Bright and Beautiful Vitamin C Exfoliating Facial Scrub an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Co-Mingle Body Scrub a seven out of ten, and the Lush Happy Skin Enzymic Facial Scrub a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Bright and Beautiful Vitamin C Exfoliating Facial Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Orange and Clove scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just didn’t think that it contained enough Vitamin C to do anything really worthwhile to my Skin. I really liked the Lush Co-Mingle Body Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy consistency, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly medicinal Lavender scent, or what it did when I used it. I really liked the Lush Happy Skin Enzymic Facial Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had come in a much bigger Tub.
