To celebrate their 40th birthday, The Body Shop have launched a whole new range called the British Rose range, and I was very kindly invited down to their beautiful Leeds Briggate store for an evening to get immersed in all the rosy goodness. After having a wonderful evening of finding out all about the new range, I thought I would tell you all about it.
After arriving at the beautiful Leedus Briggate store, we were very kindly greeted by one of the very helpful staff who took our names and said that we could just wander around. After about twenty minutes of us wandering around and generally chatting to other fabulous bloggers, one of the lovely staff members gathered us around and started telling us all about the new British Rose range, including how they infuse British dried Rose petals in Welsh Spring Water to get the purest Rose scent. We then got to try out a few of the wonderful new products including the British Rose Body Butter, Hand Cream, the Instant Glow Body Essence, and the new Eau De Toilette.
After we had a good look, and I had a good sniff and feel of all the new range, we were all split into groups of ten, and each group was then shown to one of the three demonstration areas, skincare, makeup, and body care. Our group went to the skin care area first, and Jamie was given a full skin care consultation by the lovely Anisa using a few products from their Nutriganics range. We also got to try out a few products from their new upcoming range called the Oils of Life.
After a good chat about all their wonderful skincare, and Jamie had finished his skin consultation, it was time to move onto the makeup area. The resident makeup expert, Laura Beth, told us all about The Body Shop’s wonderful makeup including their Instablur and their CC Cream. She then showed us the new British Rose Eye and Cheek Palette which includes six eyeshadows, and two cheek blushes. I don’t wear makeup myself, but the shades of the palette felt incredibly soft.
After we had tried out and felt a little of the beautiful makeup we moved onto the body care area. As well as checking out a lot of their amazing body care, we focused mainly on their Spa of the World range and I got to try out most of it including their Egyptian Milk & Honey Bath, Dead Sea Salt Scrub, and their Japanese Camelia Cream.
After we had finished trying out all the body care we were told we could just wander around. I went to check out their Elderflower Eye Gel as I was looking for a new eye cream. After a little while of looking around I decided to pick up a little something from the new British Rose range. I decided I would get the British Rose Shower Gel as I wasn’t sure if I would like the entire range. After Jamie had paid, the wonderful staff member handed him a little goodie box for the both of us filled with samples, a few vouchers, something from their Grapefruit and Coconut ranges, and a bottle of their new British Rose Hand Cream. After making my little purchase it was time to head off so we said our goodbyes to all the wonderful staff members and headed for our train.
I had a wonderful time trying out all of The Body Shop’s amazing products including the new British Rose range , and I would just like to thank all of the staff at the Leeds Briggate store for a fantastic evening.
