As some of you probably already know, a couple of weeks ago I was very kindly invited down to The Yorkshire Soap Company Harrogate to come and celebrate their launch, and after someone very kindly recommended that I check out their extremely cool sounding Fizz Pops that contain Popping Candy and are available in Strawberry, Banana, Peach, Watermelon and Lychee, I obviously had to give one of them a go. Well after giving them all a good sniff, I eventually picked up a tub of the Banana Fizz Pops, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what The Yorkshire Soap Company say about their Banana Fizz Pops.
Our Banana handmade fizzy Bath Powder with added Popping Candy is made with skin-softening and cleansing bathing powders, natural Cocoa Butter and super scrumptious Banana parfum. Add as little or as much as you like to your Bath Water to give a fruity fizz and pop to your bath time fun!
I absolutely loved their scent, as even though they contained Cocoa Butter and Banana Parfum, I thought that they had an extremely strong fresh and fruity Banana scent to them that kind of reminded me of just ripened Bananas.
I really liked their consistency, as even though they were called a Bath Powder and contained little pieces of Popping Candy, I thought that they felt quite chunky and ever so slightly chalky, and were more like some really chunky Bath Salts rather than a light and airy Powder.
What they did when I used them.
I absolutely loved what they did when I used them, as once I had sprinkled some of them into my Bath Water, they instantly started to hiss, fizz and bang which kind of reminded me of the sound that I hear whenever I burn a Candle that has a wooden wick. I also really liked that they managed to fill my entire bathroom with their delicious fresh and fruity Banana scent within a matter of seconds of them hitting the Water.
I really liked their results, as not only did they leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft and moisturised, but they also left it smelling of delicious fresh and fruity Banana for hours after I had used them.
I really liked their packaging, as they came in a massive square plastic tub with a screw top lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The Yorkshire Soap Company Banana Fizz Pops a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved their extremely strong fresh and fruity Banana scent, their strange chunky consistency, what they did when I used them, their results, and their packaging, but I unfortunately found that I needed to use quite a lot of them to actually get a decent amount of hissing, fizzing or popping out of them.
