Yorkshire Smelt So Fresh And Clean In The 70’s | The Yorkshire Soap Company Soap On A Rope Bar Range

Even though they’re considered quite retro and old-fashioned now, I do remember when any Bath & Body Care Brand worth it’s Salt had some kind of Soap On a Rope available to buy. That’s why when I saw that The Yorkshire Soap Company had released a Soap On A Rope Bar range that includes three delicious smelling Soaps whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pop in and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Tidal Moss Soap On A Rope Bar, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A medium rectangular dark blue block of soap inside a medium rectangular cardboard box with a dark green label that has The Yorkshire Soap Company Tidal Moss Soap On A Rope Bar written in bold bright white writing, some pictures of some bright green pieces of Seaweed, and a piece of light brown rope tied around it, on a white background.

Here’s what The Yorkshire Soap Company say about their Tidal Moss Soap On A Rope Bar.

Pure freshness from the Ocean, always within reach. Our Soap On A Rope Bars have been made with lashings of Coconut Oil to soothe and nourish the Skin. Infused with a fresh and soothing Tidal Moss scent.
A crisp and refreshing blend of Sea Breeze, Salt-Kissed Air, and earthy Green Moss. This oceanic scent captures the essence of Coastal calm and leaves your Skin feeling purified, balanced, and renewed, like a breath of fresh Sea Air.

  • Made with an Essential Oil based Fragrance and Coconut Oil.
  • Ideal for Dry Skin and Vegans.
  • Use on Body and Hands.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Water, Water, Fragrance, Glycerin, Sodium Citrate, Coconut Oil, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Citric Acid, Sodium Chloride, CI 19140, CI 42090, and CI 15985, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly grassy Ocean Air scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you arrive at the Beach on a slightly chilly Spring Morning.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily lather that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly grassy Ocean Air for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a really thick Cardboard Box with the piece of Rope tied around it that I thought looked really professional and would be perfect to give to someone as a Gift.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Yorkshire Soap Company Tidal Moss Soap On A Rope Bar a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly grassy Ocean Air scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it’s delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly grassy Ocean Air scent was also available in some other products, like a Bath Bomb, a Body Lotion, or maybe even a Shower Gel.
