I’m not really the biggest fan of the Monarchy, as I unfortunately don’t really see the point of them anymore. But saying that, I have been absolutely loving all of the buzz that the Country seems to have around the coronation of King Charles III as well as all of the cool, cheesy and just down right weird Memorabilia that has been released to celebrate his ascension to the Throne. That’s why when I saw that The Yorkshire Soap Company had released a Crown & Glory Novelty Soap to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what The Yorkshire Soap Company say about their Crown & Glory Novelty Soap.
We’re celebrating the coronation of King Charles III on Saturday the 6th of May 2023, with a special limited-edition Soap!
Handmade in our York Soap Kitchen with a moisture rich, Vegetable Glycerine formula, dusted with pearlescent Gold Mica Powder and scented with our Royal Oud Wood fragrance.
Designed to leave your Skin feeling nourished and beautifully scented, this Pillow and Crown shaped Soap is the perfect Novelty Gift or Spring treat for an amazing historical event!
Our Royal Oud scent is infused with a deep and musky Oud wood fragrance, with lifting hints of citrus which creates a unique and complex blend fit for a king!
Its scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Stearate, Sorbitol, Sucrose, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Laurate, Glycerin, Sodium Myristate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Stearic Acid, Fragrance, Lauric Acid, Myristic Acid, Tetrasodium Iminodisuccinate, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Limonene, Linalool, Citronellol, Citral, Coumarin, Eugenol, Hydroxycitronellal, Geraniol, CI 51319, CI 21108, CI 77019, CI 77891, and CI 77861, I thought that it had a delicious deep and woody yet ever so slightly zesty Oud Wood scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a Man who’s wearing some very masculine smelling Cologne in a Library.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather that spread really easily across my Hands.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and woody yet ever so slightly zesty Oud Wood for at least ten minutes after I had used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The Yorkshire Soap Company Crown & Glory Novelty Soap a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and woody yet ever so slightly zesty Oud Wood scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it’s delicious deep and woody yet ever so slightly zesty Oud Wood scent was also available in some other products, like a Bath Bomb, a Body Lotion, or maybe even a Shower Gel.
