Refreshing My Eyes At Night | Garnier Moisture Bomb Night Time Eye Tissue Mask

I absolutely loved using the Garnier Moisture Bomb Night Time Face Tissue Mask a couple of months ago, as I really liked how soft, plump and hydrated it left my Skin feeling. That’s why when I saw that Garnier had released a Night Time Eye Tissue Mask that claims to soothe and hydrate your Under Eyes before Bed whilst I was scrolling through Superdrug’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well I finally used it the other night, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A long thin rectangular dark blue plastic pouch that has Garnier Moisture Bomb Night Time Eye Tissue Mask written in bold white writing and a picture of a droplet of Water on it, on a white background.

Here’s what Garnier say about their Moisture Bomb Night Time Eye Tissue Mask..

A super hydrating Tissue Mask to help repair Skin’s Barrier and soothe tired Skin before Bed. Enriched with Deep Sea Water and Hyaluronic Acid.
Does your Skin look tired and feel worn out? Need a relaxing and Skin boosting treat? Take 15 minutes before sleeping to relax, unwind and leave your Skin feeling soothed and hydrated.
This Tissue Mask is infused with an ultra-light moisturising formula, enriched with Deep Sea Water and natural origin Hyaluronic Acid. Use before sleeping for a boost of hydration and instantly refreshed Skin.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Arginine, Cornflower Water, Citric Acid, Cocoa-Betaine, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Hydroxyacetophenone, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Lavender Oil, Mannose, Sea Water, P-Anisic Acid, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Hydroxide, Propanediol, PVM/Ma Copolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a very strange fresh and chemical yet ever so slightly synthetic Sea Water scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you’ve just sprayed some Hairspray in an unventilated Room.

It’s material.

I really liked it’s material, as this was made out of a very soft and thick Microfibre Tissue that felt really soft against my Skin and didn’t rip when I tried to remove it from it’s packaging.

It’s size.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s size, as even though it was called an Eye Mask, instead of it being two massive Patches like most of the other Eye Masks that i’ve tried in the past have been, this was essentially just one long piece of Tissue that was supposed to stretch from one Eye to the other. I also found that even though it looked quite long, that I had quite a hard time getting it to fit across my Face as I have quite a wide sized Nose.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had removed it from it’s packaging and had eventually gotten it to fit my Face, it started to release lots of thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum that set within a matter of seconds and securely stuck the Microfibre Tissue to my Face so that I could move around without worrying that it was going to fall off.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, bouncy, plump and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very secure Plastic Pouch that as well as keeping the Mask really fresh until I was ready to use it, also meant that none of it’s Serum leaked anywhere.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Garnier Moisture Bomb Night Time Eye Tissue Mask an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very soft and thick material, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange fresh and chemical yet ever so slightly synthetic Sea Water scent, or it’s very strange size as I found it very difficult to use.

  1. Might give it a try!

  2. I haven’t tried any of the eye masks but the face masks in the moisture bomb range are AMAZING – I do one every single wednesday and sunday. I might have to add the eye masks into my routine too

    • I love the Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Masks too but even I have to admit that the Eye ones are a little odd as they’re all totally different, both in ingredients, shape and size.

  3. Interesting read. I’m not into putting anything on my face but will refer my wife to your post.
