Sometimes The Only Way To Get Moisturised Skin Is To Have A Good Night’s Sleep | The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Sleeping Mask

Some of my favourite Face Masks definitely have to be any of the ones from The Body Shop, especially their Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask, their Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask, or their Pumpkin Instant Radiance In-Shower Mask . That’s why when I saw that they had released a Vitamin E Moisture Sleeping Mask that claims to leave you with silky soft, plump and intensely moisturised Skin whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.

1. Two or three times a week, apply a thin layer of the Vitamin E Moisture Sleeping Mask all over your Face and Neck.
2. Gently massage into your Skin.
3. Get your Beauty Sleep and wake up with Skin that’s plumped up and hydrated.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Isocetyl Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Soybean Oil, Octyldodecanol, Cotton Tree Seed Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Caprylyl Glycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Raspberry Seed Oil, Lecithin, Fragrance, Sodium Hydroxide, Panthenol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Alcohol, Geraniol, Linalool, Limonene, Hydroxycitronellal, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Sunflower Seed Oil, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Citric Acid, Tocopherol, CI 14700, and CI 19140, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly musky Cotton scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking through a Cotton Field on a balmy Spring Afternoon.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Sleeping Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Night Cream rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Sleeping Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Overnight Mask that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, refreshed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised ,but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit brighter and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Sleeping Mask a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly musky Cotton scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a much higher percentage of Vitamin C to leave my Skin looking a Little bit brighter. I also wish that it had come in a Glass Jar with a Plastic screw top Lid like the rest of their Face Mask range.
