Whenever I have any kind of Breakout, one of my favourite things to do definitely has to be to smother my Skin in something that contains quite a high level of Salicylic Acid or Tea Tree Oil before I go to Bed and let it work it’s magic overnight. That’s why when I saw that The Body Shop had released a Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Night Mask that claims to leave you with silky soft, hydrated and clearer-looking Skin when I went to The Body Shop York Activist Workshop Store Relaunch a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Propanediol, Acrylates/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Lauryl Methacrylate/Glycol Dimethacrylate Crosspolymer, Tea Tree Leaf Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Salicylic Acid, Allantoin, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Tamanu Seed Oil, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Algin, Limonene, Citral, PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Trideceth-6, Zinc Sulfate, Citronellol, Lemon Scented Tea Tree Oil, Tocopherol, Caramel, CI 19140, and CI 42090, I thought that it had a delicious deep and medicinal yet ever so slightly grassy Tea Tree scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of Tea Tree Essential Oil.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Overnight Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly gloopy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly gloopy Hair Gel rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Overnight Face Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly gloopy Hair Gel into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Overnight Face Mask that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, matte, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, clear and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it managed to get rid of any Spots that I had within two or three days, especially those stubborn under the Skin ones.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical clear Glass Jar with a matte Plastic screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Night Mask a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and medicinal yet ever so slightly grassy Tea Tree scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a little bit of Charcoal or Witch Hazel Extract to prevent any Spots and Blemishes from forming after I had used it.
