With me now apparently having a damaged Skin Barrier because of the Patches of Eczema underneath my Eyes, i’ve been on the lookout for anything that claims to contain a blend of Ceramides, Hyaluronic Acid or Probiotics to hopefully try and soothe my Skin as well as return it to it’s silky soft, plump, hydrated and glowing -looking former self. That’s why when I saw that Garnier had released a SkinActive Probiotic Derived Fractions Sheet Mask and a SkinActive Probiotic Derived Fractions Eye Sheet Mask that claims to contain a blend of 2 million Probiotic Fractions and Hyaluronic Acid to help repair a damaged Skin Barrier whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick them both up. Well I finally used them the other day, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Garnier say about both amazing products.

The Garnier SkinActive Probiotic Derived Fractions Sheet Mask.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved its scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Alcohol, Propanediol, Dipropylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Acetic Acid, Bifida Ferment Lysate, Biosaccharine Gum-1, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Limonene, Linalool, Maltodextrin, Mannose, Lotus Flower Extract, Fragrance, Potassium Sorbate, Black Tea Ferment, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Phytate, Sodium Polyacrylate, and Xanthan Gum, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly grassy Lotus Flower scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past a Lotus Plant on a balmy Spring Afternoon.
It’s material.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s material, as even though this was made out of a very thick and soft Microfibre Tissue that felt incredibly soft against my Skin, I unfortunately found that it had managed to rip quite a lot when I had removed it from it’s packaging, especially around the Forehead, Nose and Chin areas.
It’s size.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s size, as even though this managed to fit me perfectly around the Eye, Nose and Mouth areas, I found that I had to bunch it up quite a lot around the Forehead and Cheek areas to make it properly fit my Face.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had removed it from it’s packaging and had smoothed it across my Face, it started to release lots of thick and watery yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum that set within a matter of seconds and securely stuck the Microfibre Tissue to my Face so that I could move around without worrying that it was going to fall off.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very secure Plastic Pouch that as well as keeping the Mask really fresh until I was ready to use it, also meant that none of it’s Serum leaked anywhere.

It’s size.
I really liked it’s size, as even though it was an Under Eye Mask, it’s individual Microfibre Tissue Patches were huge and actually managed to reach the Tip of my Nose.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had removed it from it’s packaging and had smooth it across my Under Eyes, it started to release lots of thick and watery yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum that eventually set and securely stuck the pieces of Microfibre Tissue to my Under Eyes so that i could move around without worrying that they were going to fall off.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left them looking extremely brighter, much younger and healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it managed to ever so slightly minimise some of the Fine Lines that are around the corners of my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very secure Plastic Pouch that as well as keeping the Mask really fresh until I was ready to use it, also meant that none of it’s Serum leaked anywhere.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Garnier SkinActive Probiotic Derived Fractions Sheet Mask an eight point five out of ten, and the Garnier SkinActive Probiotic Derived Fractions Eye Sheet Mask a 9 out of 10. I really liked the Garnier SkinActive Probiotic Derived Fractions Sheet Mask, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly grassy Lotus Flower scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of the fact that it’s material managed to rip so much when I had removed it from it’s packaging or that I also had to bunch it up quite a lot around the Forehead and Cheek areas to make it properly fit my Face. I really liked the Garnier SkinActive Probiotic Derived Fractions Eye Sheet Mask, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly grassy Lotus Flower scent, its material, its size, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it’s incredibly thick and watery yet ever so slightly oily Serum was also available in a Bottle or as an Eye Cream.
