Hydrating My Skin With The Active Powers Of Charcoal | Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Charcoal & Algae Hydrating Sheet Mask | Gifted

Some of my favourite Sheet Masks definitely has to be any of the Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask range, as I absolutely love how silky soft, smooth and hydrated they leave my Skin feeling. Unfortunately they don’t really work that well for me whenever my Skin is having a Breakout though, as they usually don’t contain anything like Charcoal, Salicylic Acid, or anything to help fight Breakouts. That’s why when the guys over at Garnier very kindly asked me if I would like to try one of their Skin Active Moisture Bomb Charcoal & Algae Hydrating Sheet Masks that claims to leave you with silky soft, detoxified, hydrated and clearer-looking Skin, I of course said yes. Well I finally used it the other day, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Alcohol, Pineapple Fruit Extract, Capryloyl Salicylic Acid, Bladder Wrack Extract, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Hydroxyacetophenone, Hydroxyethylcellulose, P-Anissic Acid, Papain, PEG-32, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Hydroxide, Propanediol, PVM/MA Copolymer, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sucrose, Xanthan Gum, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious deep and earthy yet ever so slightly oceanic Charcoal scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a hidden Cave at the Beach.

It’s material.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s material, as even though this was made out of a very thick and soft Microfibre Tissue that felt incredibly soft against my Skin, I unfortunately found that it had managed to rip quite a lot when I had removed it from it’s packaging, especially around the Forehead, Nose and Chin areas.

It’s size.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s size, as even though this managed to fit me perfectly around the Eye,  Nose and Mouth areas, I found that I had to bunch it up quite a lot around the Forehead and Cheek areas to make it properly fit my Face.

What it did when I used it.

I absolutely loved what this did when I used it, as once I had removed it from it’s packaging and had smoothed it across my Face, it started to release lots of thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum that set within a matter of seconds and securely stuck the Microfibre Tissue to my Face so that I could move around without worrying that it was going to fall off.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, matte, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very secure Plastic Pouch that as well as keeping the Mask really fresh until I was ready to use it, also meant that none of it’s Serum leaked anywhere.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Charcoal & Algae Hydrating Sheet Mask an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and earthy yet ever so slightly oceanic Charcoal scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of that it’s material managed to rip so much when I had removed it from it’s packaging or that I also had to bunch it up quite a lot around the Forehead and Cheek areas to make it properly fit my Face.
