The Prestige Of Japanese Skincare | Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturiser

One of my Skincare Obsessions at the moment definitely has to be any kind of Japanese or Korean-inspired Milky Toner, as I just love how silky soft, soothed, plump and hydrated they leave my Skin feeling. That’s why when I saw that Beauty Bay had released a The Hydration Box that contained a Bottle of the Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturiser that claims to leave you with comforted, hydrated and radiant-looking Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A tall cylindrical bright white plastic bottle with a bright white plastic lid that has Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturiser written in dark bluie writing on it, on a white background.

Step Two.

Apply a small amount, the size of a grain of Rice, on targeted areas such as around the Eyes, Smile Lines, Forehead or other areas of concern every other Night.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Isopentyldiol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Squalane, Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate, Glyceryl Sttearate Citrate, Sodium Steroyl Glutamate, Inulin Lauryl Carbonate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Propanediol, Disodium EDTA, Carbomer, Mannitol, Acrylates/Stearyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Snow Mushroom Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Green Tea Leaf Extract, Xanthan Gum, Ceramide NP, Japanese Camellia Flower Extract, and Tocopherol Acetyl Tetrapeptide-11, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly creamy Camellia Flower scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had dunked some Camellia Flowers in a massive Glass of Milk.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Toner & Moisturiser, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Cleansing Milk rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Toner & Moisturiser.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Cleansing Milk into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly creamy Milky Toner that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, firm, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, it would have been nice if it had come in a Bottle with some kind of a Dropper or Nozzle so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturiser a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly creamy Camellia Flower scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in a Bottle with some kind of Dropper or Nozzle so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using.
