Back in December when I woke up with some kind of Chemical Burn underneath my Right Eye, one of the things that everyone told me to use was a Ceramide rich Moisturiser as Ceramides help to repair your Skin’s natural Moisture Barrier, and I had clearly compromised mine in some way, shape or form. That’s why when I saw that Nadine Baggott had released a The Complete Winter Skincare Edit in collaboration with Superdrug that contained a Tube of their Me+ Ceramide Moisturiser whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Propanediol, Glyceryl Stearate, Butylene Glycol, Sorbiton Stearate, Dimethicone, Isohexadecane, Sodium Polyacrylate, Phenoxyethanol, Betaine, Caprylyl Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Peg-100 Stearate, Sodium Lauryl Lactylate, Sodium PCA, Sodium Lactate, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, PCA, Ceramide NP, Glycie, Alanine, Cholesterol, Ceramide AP, Phytosphingosine, Serine, Valine, Carbomer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Isoleucine, Prolline, Threonine, Histidine, Phenylalanine, and Ceramide EOP, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly chemical Milk scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you wash some Plastic Milk Cartons out to put in the Recycling Bin.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Ceramide Moisturiser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Ceramide Moisturiser.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Cleansing Lotion that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Superdrug Me+ Ceramide Moisturiser a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly chemical Milk scent. I also wish that it was available in a much bigger size, as 50ml of a Moisturiser doesn’t last that long, especially if you’re using it twice a day like you’re supposed to do or are using it to buffer out any kind of Active Ingredients like Retinol or Vitamin C.
