Even though I usually like to blast one of my Spotify Playlists whilst i’m relaxing in the Bath with a nice Bath Bomb, when I truly want to relax and unwind I tend to listen to one of the many Books that I have on Audible. That’s why when the guys over at Lush very kindly asked me if I would like to try some of their Bathing in Poetry range that’s been created in collaboration with the Poetry Pharmacy and contains a little Poem inside each Bath Bomb, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

The Lush Broken Heart Bath Bomb.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Jasmine Absolute, Sandalwood Oil, Tonka Absolute, Vanilla Absolute, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluophlogopite, Dipropylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Cilica, Tin Oxide, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Salicylate, Coumarin, Geraniol, Fragrance, Colour 77491, Colour 14700, Colour 45410, Colour 45410:1, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly seductive Jasmine scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a really sophisticated Woman who’s wearing some Jasmine Perfume on a balmy Spring Afternoon.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Red all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous Gold Lustre all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the bright Red to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering bright Pink colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released a little piece of Banana Leaf Paper that had a little Poem written on it.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly seductive Jasmine for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Slow Down Bath Bomb.
It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Bergamot Oil, Neroli Oil, Petitgrain Oil, Water, Coumarin, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 42090, and Colour 19140, I thought that it had a very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly zesty Neroli scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you snell whenever you open a Box of some out of date Egg Custard Tarts.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of vibrant dark Blue all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of beautiful bright Blue all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the vibrant dark Blue to turn my entire Bath a stunning Sky Blue colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released a little piece of Banana Leaf Paper that had a little Poem written on it.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly zesty Neroli for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Wild Remedy Bath Bomb.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Fragrance, Siberian Fur Needle Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Fur Needle Absolute, Tagetes Oil, Green Tea Powder, Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 47005:1, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly oceanic Pine scent to it that kind of reminded me of being sat by the side of a Lake in a Pine Forest on a freezing cold Winter’s Day.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Yellow all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of vivid bright Blue all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Yellow to turn my entire Bath a stunning bright Green colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released a little piece of Banana Leaf Paper that had a little Poem written on it.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly oceanic Pine scent for hours after I had used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Broken Heart Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Slow Down Bath Bomb a six out of ten, and the Lush Wild Remedy Bath Bomb a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Broken Heart Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly seductive Jasmine scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had done a little bit more when I had used it. I really liked the Lush Slow Down Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly zesty Neroli scent. I really liked the Lush Wild Remedy Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly oceanic Pine scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had done a little bit more when I had used it. I also wish that all of the Poems that had come inside each Bath Bomb were available online somewhere so that I could have actually read them.
