Because I Knew You, I Have Been Changed For Good! | Lush X Wicked : For Good Range

If you didn’t already know, I absolutely adore Wicked , and can’t wait to see the concluding second part of the Film, Wicked : For Good, when it finally hits Cinemas later this month. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released an x Wicked : For Good range to celebrate the release of Wicked : For Good, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Lion Bath Bomb, a Bottle of The Wise And Magnificent Wizard Shower Gel, and a Bottle of We Believe In Glinda Body Spray, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all three delicious smelling products.

The Lush Lion Bath Bomb.

A very nervous Lion.

What’s in it for you?

  • Relax in a warm Bath with this slow-fizzing Bath Bomb. The mane attraction? Uplifting Citrus notes of Orange and Lemon.

Leaving the World Lusher than we found it.

Nothing takes the shine off our beautiful Lustres! They’re Plastic-Free.

The Lush We Believe In Glinda Body Spray.

Shouldn’t this be Pinker?
We believe in Glinda. We also believe in our Lush x Wicked : For Good Body Spray, for conjuring up the nostalgic Fragrance of Parma Violets that’s just oh-so-good. Charmed with powdery Vanilla Absolute for an airy, sugary sweetness, so you can sparkle like Glinda and shine like you.

What’s in it for you?

  • Two halves of the whole Heart, herbal Violet Leaf Absolute harmoniously blends with the softness of radiant Rose Oil, forming the floral core of this Fragrance.
  • Powdery Vanilla Absolute and Orris Butter come together in a perfect duet of airy, sugary sweetness, reminiscent of crushed Violet Sweets.
  • Good news! Almond Oil lends a playful, berry-like sweetness that Glinda would be proud to spritz.

A medium bright yellow lion’s head shaped bath bomb that has a light brown Lion's Mane, some large downturned eyes, a small nose, and a serious expression engraved on it, on a white background.

The Lush Lion Bath Bomb.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Alcohol Denat, Cornstarch, Fragrance, Brazilian Orange Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Lime Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Water, Corn Protein, Gardenia Extract, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 47005, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious fresh an zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of Fanta Orange.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Orange and Yellow all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright White Foam to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering burnt Orange colour.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Water, Poppy Seed Infusion, Calcium Lactate, Fine Sea Salt, Lauryl Betaine, Fragrance, Lactic Acid, Geranium Oil, Petitgrain Oil, Galbanum Oil, Thyme Absolute, Oakmoss Absolute, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Silica, Tin Oxide, Citral, Citronellol, Oakmoss Extract, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Linalool, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and herbal yet ever so slightly zesty Thyme scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into the Bathroom after someone has just used some very herbal Rosemary and Thyme Shampoo.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Cleansing Gel rather than a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Cleansing Gel into a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and herbal yet ever so slightly zesty Thyme for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

A tall black plastic kitchen spray bottle with a gradient bright pink and purple label that has Lush We Believe In Glinda Body Spray written in bright white writing with a black outline around it and some pictures of some bright white sunbeams, some fluffy white clouds, a bright white unicorn's Horn, some dark blue stars, and a bright yellow star on it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Alcohol Denat, Water, Fragrance, Glycerine, Violet Leaf Absolute, Vanilla Absolute, Rose Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Orris Butter, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Violet and Blueberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Palma Violet Sweets into a massive Mug of Blueberry Juice.;

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists, Neck and Clothes when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the Morning, and I could still faintly smell it on my Skin when I sat down to have a Cup of Tea at about three thirty in the Afternoon.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall Black Plastic Kitchen Spray Bottle that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, they’ve unfortunately recently changed the Spray Mechanism of their Body Spray Bottles so that once you’ve sprayed it it locks and you have to wait a couple of seconds before you can spray it again.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Lion Bath Bomb an eight point five out of ten, the Lush The Wise And Magnificent Wizard Shower Gel a nine point five out of ten, and the Lush We Believe In Glinda Body Spray a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Lion Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had contained a little bit of Popping Candy to make it sound like a Lion was actually roaring in my Bath. I really liked the Lush The Wise And Magnificent Wizard Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and herbal yet ever so slightly zesty Thyme scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it’s delicious fresh and herbal yet ever so slightly zesty Thyme scent was also available in some other products, like a Body Spray, a Lush Melt, or maybe even a Massage Bar. I really liked the Lush We Believe In Glinda Body Spray, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Violet and Blueberry scent, and it’s longevity, but I just wish that it had come in some easier to use packaging, and that it was also part of their main range.
