As you probably already know, I absolutely love it whenever Lush releases anything new. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Halloween 2020 range, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Bat Art Bath Bomb, a Bottle of the Very Very Frightening Shower Gel, and a jar of the Toffee Apple Lip Scrub, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all three delicious smelling products.

The Bat Art Bath Bomb.

Be spellbound by this Bat Bath Bomb. Full of Bath Art worth of surprises, deep glittery waters await with a fresh, herbal scent that lingers.

How to use.

Run a Bath and drop in to reveal a spectacle before you descend into the dark, Purple waters. The Rosemary and Sage scent of Junk Perfume will cleanse your aura.

How to store.

Keep cool and dry until you’re ready to release this Plastic Free Halloween Bath Bomb.

The Very Very Frightening Shower Gel.

Embrace your sweet side with this bold, uplifting Shower Gel. Containing Fresh Lemon & Fig Juice, it is Palm Oil and SLS free, plus it’s Vegan!

How to use.

Lather all over including your Hair, and get ready to sing rhapsodies as Safflower Infusion, Plantain Extract and the finest Essential Oils surround you. Wash off thoroughly, leaving you soothed and balanced.

The Toffee Apple Lip Scrub.

Ghoulishly gorgeous Green Apple and Blood Red Sticky Toffee offers the sweetest Pout around.

How to use.

Scoop out a little of these sweet & sour layers on to your Finger, buff your Lips and lick off.

The Lush Bat Art Bath Bomb.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, DRF Alcohol, Fragrance, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Green Mandarin Oil, Rosemary Oil, Sage Oil, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Cocoa Sulfate, Dipropylene  Glycol, Sythetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Propylene Glycol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Limonene, Colour 77499, Colour 17200, Colour 45410:1, Colour 42053, Colour 42090, Colour 42090:2, Colour 45410:1, Colour 77491, and Colour 14700, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Blackcurrant scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent of some crushed up Blackcurrant Cough Sweets.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful vivid Lilac all over the surface of the water, and then after a couple more minutes it also released streams of beautiful deep Violet all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended together to turn my entire Bath a beautiful deep Purple colour. Then after a couple more minutes it also released streams of gorgeous inky Black and lots of Silver lustre all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the deep Purple to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering inky Purple colour.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Blackcurrant for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Very Very Frightening Shower Gel.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Water, Glycerine, Safflower Petal Infusion, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Plantain Extract, Fine Sea Salt, Propylene Glycol, Fragrance, Titanium Dioxide, Grapefruit Oil, Bergamot Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Fresh Lemon Juice, Xanthan Gum, Guar Gum, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 59040, Colour 45350, and Colour 47005, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral and creamy Blackcurrant scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed an entire Packet of Palma Violet Sweets into a massive Jug of Blackcurrant Juice.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and gloopy yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thin and gloopy yet ever so slightly watery Hyaluronic Acid Serum rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and gloopy yet ever so slightly watery Hyaluronic Acid Serum into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral and creamy Blackcurrant for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Toffee Apple Lip Scrub.

It’s taste.

I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Castor Sugar, Organic Jojoba Oil, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Bergamot Oil, Geranium Oil, Carob Resinoid, Sandalwood Oil, Extra Fine Sea Salt, Titanium Dioxide, Malic Acid, Sythetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool, Flavour, Colour 19140:1, Colour 77491, Colour 15850:1, and Colour 42090:2, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sweet and syrupy Toffee Apple Taste to it that kind of reminded me of eating a massive Toffee Apple outside whilst watching some Fireworks on Bonfire Night.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped a little bit of it  out of it’s Jar and had started to rub it against my Skin, it released lots of little shards of oily  Castor Sugar and Fine Sea Salt all over my Lips that eventually dissolved into a thin and buttery Lip Balm that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Lips feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely moisturised, but it also left them tasting of delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sweet and syrupy Toffee Apple for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Bat Art Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Very Very Frightening Shower Gel a nine out of ten, and the Lush Toffee Apple Lip Scrub an eight out of ten. I really liked the Lush Bat Art Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Blackcurrant scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had been a little bit more moisturising. I really liked the Lush Very Very Frightening Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral and creamy Blackcurrant scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it hadn’t smelt so creamy. I really liked the Lush Toffee Apple Lip Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sweet and syrupy Toffee Apple taste, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had tasted a little bit more of Apple instead of mostly tasting of Toffee.
